|| Twilightkit ||
Wolfkit padded into the nursery quietly. He'd been trying to see if any flowers survived the snow, though sadly he found none. He walked to Ravenfeather's nest and sat down. How long is leaf-bare? He thought, sighing and looking at the exit. He didn't think it'd be too short. Oh well. maybe the snow will be a fun experience. Wolfkit shrugged to himself. It couldn't be all that bad. He looked around to see if anyone else had noticed the snow.

Twilightkit looked up at the grey sky. Nobody had noticed the lone kit, staring silently up at the sky. She sighed. It was getting rather cold, time to go back inside. She slipped into the den and, instead of curling up in her mothers nest like most of the kits were doing, she curled up in a small pile of moss she had grabbed in the corner. She rolled onto her back and looked around from her shadowy nest, seeing a single kit in the den. He was sitting on ravenfeather's nest, where she could've sat if she so wanted to. She assumed the kit had already seen her, so hiding was pointless. Twilightkit flicked her tail in greeting. She wasn't one to talk a lot, she felt no need to. Actions spoke far louder than words, and no one heard her when she spoke anyway.

Wolfkit spotted Twilightkit right as she flicked her tail. He purred warmly and padded over. "Hello." He sat down next to her and spoke softly, getting the vibe that this kit was shy. He vaguely recognized her. Maybe he'd seen her in Ravenfeather's nest once or twice. Still, he wasn't fully positive that it was this exact cat. He turned his head and looked at her. "I hope you don't mind if I join you. You looked a little lonely." He said, curling his tail over his paws and closing his eyes. Maybe she wouldn't even want to talk. 'That's fine with me. I just hope I'm not bugging her.'

Twilightkit shook her head " no, it's okay." she said quietly, already assuming this was one of her siblings. He was, after all, sitting in her others nest. She fluffed out her fur. It was soft and dark like her mothers. She was hoping wolfkit would put together the puzzle pieces, the same way she herself had. "I'm Twilightkit,what's you're name?" Though she wouldn't like to admit it, she hadn't really gotten to know many of her siblings. She opened her eyes much later than most of them had, so she'd only started walking about just recently. (Sorry, this is so short)

He purred again. "That's a nice name. I'm Wolfkit." He opened his eyes and focused on her. "You're my sister, right? Your scent is a little familiar." He was getting used to the scent of his siblings. Ravenfeather didn't seem to be around much, but that was fine with him. He could understand wanting to get back to the warrior life right away. It was quite boring in the nursery. Wolfkit yawned. "Why are you here all alone? Don't you wanna play with your friends?" He hoped he wasn't prodding too much.

"Thank you." She said quietly when he complimented her name. 'Though I didn't make it up, Ravenfeather did' she thought inwardly. She peered along the walls of the empty nursery. Sure, it was leaf-bare so their wouldn't be many kits, but it seemed strangely empty. It was also eerily quiet. Other than herself and wolfkit, no cat was making any sounds. She nodded when wolfkit realized she was his sister. Honestly, she didn't think he would know unless she said something, but then again, she probably still caried the scent of her mother on her pelt. She also did look a bit similar to her mother in a way, so wolfkit may have just made a lucky guess as well. She shook her head, realizing she was spacing out. Oh, the dreaded question of the night. "I haven't really talked to many kits, though I have listened to them, they all seem rather nice." She said with a small smile. Wow, that was probably the longest sentance she had spoken aloud so far.

Wolfkit settled down more comfortably. He hummed quietly to himself, enjoying the peacefulness. The nursery was usually loud and busy, so this was nice for a change. He closed his eyes again, almost drifting off to sleep this time. Twilightkit's words were what stopped him from dozing off. "Well, I think you should go talk to them next time. They'd be lucky to meet a kind cat like you." He smiled softly as he spoke. "It can't be too fun just listening to them. But to each their own, I guess."

( I am sooooooooooo sorry about the wait for this! the holidays were a busy time for my family indeed!) she nodded her head. talking one on one seemed to be going okay so far, but she was afraid that in a group she'd be to quiet and nobody would hear her. "m-maybe I will." she said, casting her gaze downwards. She didn't think she'd end up speaking to the group of kits, but perhaps she could meet a few of them.
