BurnetpawPondpaw walked into the apprentices den, proud with her new name. Moss clutched in her jaws, she found a clear spot and lied her moss down to make a nest. While doing so, she scratched it in a certain pattern, a x with a trio of claws running through it, to tell it was hers. Pondpaws amber eyes settled on her elder brother and padded up to him, "Hola, le brobro."

Burnetpaw snuggled deeper into his nest, trying to escape the chills of leaf-bare. Oh, why did he have to be cursed with a thin pelt? No matter how gorgeous it was, it just wasn't fir for the cold IceClan territory. Groaning, he turned over again, only this time he came muzzle-to-paws with a familiar set of toes. Looking up, he was met with the face of his sister, Angel. Or whatever her actual name was, he had never bothered to remember. "Oh, it's you," he drawled sarcastically, sitting up in his nest. He tried to act as if he wasn't happy to see the she-cat, but the flicker of a smile still managed to slip onto the edge of his mouth. "I guess that means your an apprentice now, huh? he said, starting to groom out his pelt, which had become slightly disheveled after his fruitless attempts at trying to get warm in his nest, "or did you just miss me to much to stay away?"

Pondpaw smirked and snorted, "Eh, kinda depends, they kinda forced my into this den and I was like, 'might as well visit bro.'" She replied. She saw that he was looking ungrateful but saw the smallest smile on his face, Pondpaw tried to look offended and laughed, "Why do you look so disappointed, thought I was senpai the leader or something.?"

Burnetpaw snorted, "well, I'll bet you've had worse ideas than visiting me; after all, you could probably learn a thing or two from my brilliance," the russet tom straightened up, finished with his grooming. "Why, of course," the bobtailed tom mewed sarcastically, "I've been expecting 'ol Roby to come in here and announce me as the new leader any day now. Care to sit by my side and wait for him?" Burnetpaw rolled his eyes in an overdramatic manner before speaking again, this time in a more serious tone, although it was still lighthearted, "how is your training going? Seen anything interesting-- and who is your mentor by the way. I never did get to attend that ceremony of yours."
