Dreampaw's tails shot up exitedly. It probably wasn't all that often that apprentices got to go into the mountians. She followed her mentor up the mountain, looking at all the rocks and sharp stuff. The view was getting pretty decent, and it would only get better the higher they went.
"Do you think there are any large cats up in these mountains?" She asked, knowing that there were hawks and sometimes wolves. Those were larger, more stronger birds and dogs, and that hawks were more common. She jumped onto a rock to admire the view for a bit, and then jumped down from it.

She chuckled lightly to herself as Dreampaw looked around the newer terrain with interest. The view was probably the best part there was, though.
"Cats? Not that I've heard of actually," she commented, thinking hard about it. Ever since birth, the only thing she was warned of in the mountains were hawks, eagles and other large birds that had taken many lives.
She looked around to admire the view as-well. The view was amazing; rocks were splayed in random places at the base of the mountain and the river went around most of it, circling it. Large pines were in bunches here and there and she could even see other territories.
"Would you like to call it a day or keep looking around?"

Dreampaw was slightly disappointed that there were no mountain-cats that Dappledleaf knew of. She wanted to know what they looked like and if some of them were friendly or not, if they even existed. And could they even speak cat, and how large they would be. Maybe they caught eagles and hawks on a daily basis, for food.
"I think we should be going, it's starting to get dark out. Plus, I want to show the clan my catches." Dreampaw said. She purred a bit knowing that some of the other apprentices would be jealous. It wasn't every day that you have an apprentice catch a mouse and fish in one day. A glint of amusment flashed in her eyes, imagining the looks on some of the apprentice's face's when she said that she caught a mouse and a fish.
