BurnetpawSnowkit watched the camp with wide eyes, his bright blue eyes slightly confused as he glanced around at all the different warriors. It was a little intimidating, with so many warriors.. and apprentices.. No elders, kind of.. Snowkit was confused. What with all these warriors, Robinstar, and the deputy Sunfish, he would suppose there would be some kind of healer.. That didn't interest him. Not as much as hunting. He admired the apprentices poises as they traded tactics for different kinds of training. Hunting, fighting, tactical advantages, territorial advantages.. theory.. Snowkit could go on and on about apprenticeship and he'd still be in awe of the different poises each cat had. Each style was their own, and unique. Sure, mentors could go on about the poise the apprentice should have, but the apprentice would have their own way of hunting. Their own way of fighting.
Maybe if he had an older brother.. Snowkit could spill all his questions to him.

Burnetpaw stretched, jaws stretched in a wide yawn, as he exited the apprentice's den. Not that I'm gonna be sleeping there much longer, he thought smugly, glancing over his shoulder at the den before his gaze began to roam the camp. The russet tom was more than ready for warriorhood, which was quickly approaching. Not that apprenticeship was bad or anything; he could defiantly see the appeal. After all, who wouldn't want to learn from someone as awesome as him? A shift in the surrounding snow gained Burnetpaw's attention, and he turned to see a kitten watching the camp. His ear flicked curiously, and out of lack of something better to do, he approached the smaller tom. "Watcha up to, kid?" Burnetpaw questioned, plopping down into the snow beside the white tom-kit. Now that he was closer the apprentice could pick up a familiar scent wafting from the kitten; Dappledleaf, his, their, mother.
