Brackensky was quiet for a moment before speaking.
"Well.... It's... Kind of nice. I never had kits before. Now I have quite the amount. It's weird, though. I worry for the day when I have so many it'll be a nightmare to keep track of them all." She confessed.

Spruceclaw laughed at that. then he realized. that was basically what happened to aster. he couldn't help a tear from rolling down his face.

Brackensky looked at Spruceclaw, staring into his eyes.
"I'll admit... I don't really get it." She meowed. She wasn't going to lie and give false sympathies she didn't mean. Before Rockclan, she had no one and was fine with that. Now... She had her kits... But beyond that she still had nothing in the way of friends. "I've been alone most of my life. I don't know what it means to have someone dear or even close to you..."

Brackensky shrugged.
"I've never known, so it doesn't really affect me much. Just sort of a neutral feeling there. I don't really mind if it stays that way forever." She smiled. "Don't feel sorry for me. I'm fine."
