[Sparrowkit]

|Brackensky hope you don't mind|

Sparrowkit padded into the nursery. Her paws were drenched in snow and water again. It had become a regular thing for her, to come into the nursery soaking wet. Especially because she was born in leafbare, so she was always out in the snow, digging tunnels or just playing in it. She scanned the nursery for Brackensky, her adoptive mother. When she found her, Sparrowkit made her way over to her. "Hi." She mewed.

Brackensky had been resting. 

She was not a cat who enjoyed the cold of Leaf-bare. Though some of her kits enjoyed it greatly, not knowing anything else besides icy snow. She exhaled and noticed someone come in. It was Sparrowkit... One of her kits. Adopted, however... It didn't matter much. At least not to Brackensky. She smiled. 

"Hello Sparrowkit... Having fun?" She asked, noticing the kit's paws were soaking wet.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit smiled. "Yeah, lot's of fun!" She purred, her spirits were just as bright as the sun, like the usual. "I've been digging tunnels in the snow, lots of them, so I can catch up to the other kits in our digging skills. I'm doing great! So far only three tunnels have collapsed since last moon." Sparrowkit said, clearly proud of herself.

[Brackensky]

Brackensky was happy to see her kit glowing with pride.

Every cat should be able to be proud of themselves at least sometimes. "That truly is fantastic." She agreed in a calm, but bright tone. "I'm sure soon enough, your tunnels will not collapse at all." She wasn't actually sure, but she figured it was a safe thing to say.
