Ivypaw walked into the den for th first time She was not the one for socializing Ivypaw looked around for a spot to make her nest The newly named apprentice was carrying bracken and fresh moss in her jaws She began to weave her nest together Once Ivypaw had finished she stood up to admire her work She looked around shyly to see I anyone had stared at her In her kithood Ivypaw was not the one for talking but than she decided to give cats a chance It was rare to see that Ivypaw sighed and layed down in her nest

Ashpaw shook out his pelt as he entered the apprentice's den after a quick run through the territory. Perhaps it had been early for such an activity, but quite frankly, he liked the mornings- it was quiet, and since the sun wasn't quite out yet, the snow didn't start melting into slush. He liked it when the white fluff was still soft and...well, fluffy.
He knew that many new apprentices had been named recently- it seemed like the den was starting to get crowded, and that's why Ashpaw had usually strayed away from it, except to sleep of course. But now, he was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually rather empty for the time being. Since there was no crowd to be intimidated by, the tom decided that perhaps he should introduce himself to whoever was around, and the only one around at the moment was a younger looking she cat.
"Hello!" he greeted, somewhat energetically. Ashpaw hadn't had the chance to talk to others in a while, and was perhaps a little too eager to start. "I'm Ashpaw- are you one of the newer apprentices? I haven't seen you around before."

(changing my font color, yay!)
Emberpaw padded into the apprentice den, eager to meet new apprentices. She had other friends, that had gone through kithood with her, and had their ceremony with her, but she still wanted to mingle. She spotted two aoprentices talking to each other that she didn't know. She trotted over, not wanting to make a lot of noise. "Hi." she said, feeling a bit intruding. "I hope I didn't intrude into your conversation."

Ashpaw smiled pleasantly at Ivypaw and purred as he curled his tail over his paws. "I hope you're settling in well," he meowed. "I haven't been here all too long myself, but still, sometimes new places can be kind of scary, huh?"
A bit of his social anxiety tried to kick in when another cat approached, but since the group was only limited to two others thus far, Ashpaw pushed it aside. This would be fine- he could handle two other cats, easy. "Not at all!" he replied. "It's nice to meet you- I'm Ashpaw, this is Ivypaw. We've only just met, ourselves." Perhaps he shouldn't have introduced Ivypaw for her- hopefully she wouldn't mind. "How has both of your training been going?"

Emberpaw smiled at the friendliness in this cat. "I'm Emberpaw. Training has been everything I've dreamed of, and more. It's so mich fun to get out of the camp and roam around." She sat down neatly, with her tail curled tight around her paws, taking up as little soace as possible.
