A Lizard that Lost it's tail (private-Lostkit)

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit scrambled to her paws and ran in zig-zag patterns, trying to throw lizardkit off her tail. She ran in odd patterns, around this bush and through that one, avoiding stepping to close to things that would trip her like rocks, sticks and the such.

[Lizardeye]

Lizardkit stopped for a moment, panting. "How do you run so fast?" He asked, interested in his new friend.

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit skidded to a halt once more. She sat down and peered over her more skinny build and longish legs. "Longer legs I have. Reason for quicker running, I believe it is." she replied, simply, stretching out one of her front legs. She never really thought of how different she was than some of these cats. Her pelt colour, her body build, even the way she spoke. "fit in do you think I will?" she asked, frowning slightly at her realization.

[Lizardeye]

Lizardkit ran up to Lostkit. "Of course you will! With your beautiful eyes and pretty way of speaking..." Lizardkit's voice faded as he looked into the white kit's oddeyes. "And even if you don't, I'll always be you're friend!"

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit smiled at Lizardkit warmly. "My thanks you have. Be me, I will, and change much I surely won't. Stay friends, i'm sure we will." she purred happily, glad to have that small bit of insecurity cast from her mind. It was nice to know that she had someone to count on, no matter what.

[Lizardeye]

A deep purr rumbled in his throut as Lizard kit affectionately nuzzled Lostkit before withdrawing and swiping his paw over his ear.

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit was a bit surprised by the affectionate gesture. She'd never had someone do something like that before, it was felt comforting to say the least. She smiled just a tad bit wider. She was glad she had the chance to be in this clan, she was making so many friends in such a short period of time. "more about eachother, I think we should learn"

[Lizardeye]

Honestly, Lizardkit forgot all about his friend's odd speech. He was more focused at what she had to say and not how she said it.

He peered at Lostkit. "You're really dusty after us playing, aren't you?"

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit looked at her pelt and flicked her tail dismissively. "clean up I will later. Dirty easily, white fur gets." she said, flicking her bi-coloured gaze across her dusty white pelt. She usually kept rather tidy, but she didn't mind getting dusty and dirty so long as she had fun whilst doing so.

[Lizardeye]

Lizardkit nodded. "My fur kinda blends in with dust," He replied, jokingly.

[Lostpaw]

She nodded, laughing along with him. "pain it must be for mother to keep you clean if dust she cannot see." she sais with a small giggle " Speaking of mother cats, born to whom were you?" she asked curiously. She couldn't really guess which queen Lizardkit may be related to, since they're were many she-cats in the clan other than sorrelpatch and meadowlark. 

[Lizardeye]

"Meadowlark," Lizardkit replied. He actually wasn't blood related to her, or even his sister, Willowpelt, because he was adopted. But he didn't know that yet. "What about you? I know that you were adopted right? But who fed you?"

[Lostpaw]

lostkit nodded in confirmation. Yes, she had been adopted. "Gave me food and warmth Sorrelpatch did. Kind that was of her, I think." she said warmly, a smile on her face. It still surprised her how kind and generous this clan was, taking in abandoned kittens and giving them a new chance at life.

[Lizardeye]

Lizardkit raised his tail, which was a rare sight to behold. It swayed side to side gracefully. He didn't really notice his long, long tail was there, it was more of a reflex. "I'm glad you were adopted into the clan. It would've been terrible if you died before we could meet," Lizardkit commented, his tone a bit more serious than it was usually.

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit nodded in agreement. "Glad I am that adopted I was too. Nice it is here, and glad I am to have the chance to meet many cats and have adventures great of my own." She said, her eyes shining. "Older, when I am, I will encounter my mother. To her, I will say for leaving me, thank you. If she hadn't left me, a rouge cat I would be. here, I'd rather be, for here happy I am." She said with a large grin. Oh how much she had already come to love this clan, though she'd only spent 6 moons with them thus far.
