The small female felt slightly excluded as she watched Jaykit's and Darkkit's playful exchange. They seemed close... Maybe they were brothers, littermates even - they seemed close in age. Littlekit noted Darkkit's use of Jaykit's nickname and, once again, wished she had just one littermate in TreeClan. Just one. "Are you brothers?" the dark tabby asked, opening and closing her lilac eyes slowly, now looking at Jaykit individually. "You seem... pretty... close."

Jaykit turned his head back to Littlekit when she spoke. "We're brothers." he smiled.

Blackkit was a little older than jaykit(I'm looking at posts) so it was like a little race they had who would become a warrior first. Blackkit was hoping it was him.

An inaudible sigh whisked from her jaws and her haunting gaze rested calmly on the two toms. There was little family resemblance between the two - one had black fur, the other had silver. Littlekit noticed that Jaykit had never responded to Darkkit - perhaps the silver tabby just wasn't hungry, or maybe he didn't want to stop their conversation. The thought warmed her just a bit - just the possibility that she wasn't as dislikable as Ravenkit's cold demeanour suggested. She offered them both a small, but charming, toothy smile and a charismatic light filled her lilac orbs, but the small female was still trying to find words to speak.
Wind whisked through trees, sending a cloud of leaves into the sky, and in a heartbeat it seemed to be raining leaves. Her large, lavender-hued eyes followed the magical scene until they settled around them. Half of the tiny kitten's body sunk into their crisp depths and she sighed, her tail winding around her paws, searching for an escape route. "A little help?" Littlekit grinned with a soft chuckle at her peculiar predicament, shyness beginning to dissipate.

Jaykit looked up at the sky as the rain of leaves came down. He closed his eyes and let them fall onto his face, then with a laugh, he shook them off. He looked around, seeing that Littlekit was a little stuck underneath a bunch of leave. He laughed even harder. He was about to walk over and help the little kit out of the leaves when Ravenkit padded over to help her. Jay's belly have a large growl, and he noticed he hadn't had breakfast, and his brother had offered to go get some with him. I want to go get breakfast, but I don't just want to leave the conversation that we're having, he thought. An idea popped into his head. He turned to Dark and nodded over to the fresh-kill pile. "Let's all go get some breakfast, because I almost already know that everyone here hasn't had any yet." he smiled his goofy grin. Jay was the first kit to wake that day, accidentally almost hitting Raven in the head. Most of the other kits had woken up after that. He turned and started to pad over to the fresh-kill pile. Once he was there, he stopped and surveyed what was there. A nice, not juicy looking bird, a fat rat, some voles, and a few mice. The mice looked good, so he walked around and picked up a gray mouse in his mouth. He turned back to the other kits and waited for them to get their prey before leaving to go eat. He wanted them all to eat together so they could still talk. "Cmon gwuys," he tried to mumble around his mouse. Snickering, he just sat down, curling his tail around his paws.

The small female couldn't help but feel surprised when Ravenkit helped her out of the pile of leaves. She offered the ebony kitten a grateful smile before getting to her apricot-hued paws.
"C'mon gwuys." Littlekit grinned and made her way to the fresh-kill pile, selecting a small but plump vole, not really wanting to take from the Clan, especially when prey was this scarce - a fact she knew by overhearing warriors' conversations.
She ambled to where Jaykit sat and seated herself beside him, her spiky tail curling neatly over minuscule paws, and took a tentative bite out of her fresh-kill - it was her first time eating fresh-kill, but her adopted mother had told her she was old enough. The tortoiseshell smiled contentedly and took another, larger bite out of the vole.

Jaykit set his mouse down, hoping to enjoy the meal that was provided by the Clan. He waited for Darkkit and Littlekit to take a bite first before he did, and he watched in surprise and Dark gobbled down his prey to the bone. "Hungry?" He asked his brother, smiling before leaning down and taking a bite out of his gray mouse. Juiciness flooded his mouth, and he stopped to taste it.It was like nothing he had ever had before, it was amazing! He chewed slowly, closing his eyes to enjoy it. Jay had been known to over-do things.

Jaykit looked up at the sound of a sigh, and saw the other kit, Ravenkit, whom he almost hit with a worm, eating off a ways, and alone. He beaconed with his head for her to come over and sit with them. He liked everyone to be included, and they were all growing up together anyway, so why not be friendly to each other? One of these kits would be his mate, possibly, someday. He just wondered which.
