The meadow wasn't as nice as it was when the weather was warm but it was still a place to pass through. Vale didn't intend on staying long, he was only scanning the place for prey. But with the cold weather it became increasingly difficult for prey to be found. He had yet to find anything and he was debating whether to head out to the junkyards in the downtown area to just catch more rats. While they weren't all that tasty they were a meal nonetheless. Hearing what he thought was footsteps the blue-gray tomcat stopped and took a look over his shoulder. Natalia

The meadow was a nice place, no doubt.
True, Leaf-bare stole some of its appeal, Natalia admitted. Still. She did enjoy taking a stroll through it. First of all, you could see cats coming better than in a pitch black forest in the middle of the night, when there was nothing but a nonexistent moon lacking light. She took a deep breath to calm her thoughts.
She had been walking along, allowing her thoughts to drift and take her out of reality for a short while. When she finally reemerged, she discovered she was standing behind some blue-gray tom. He seemed older than she was. He looked over his shoulder at her. She tilted her head to the side. Might as well strike up conversation, since it might seem strange if she suddenly dashed off in an effort to avoid social interaction. It wasn't that she hated socializing... She often didn't see the point of it.
"You a regular around here?" She inquired.

He went to go turn back around and stride off but his ears twitched when she spoke. He turned back to her and sat down. "Not particularly." He replied slightly ambiguously. "I come and go. I don't have anywhere I stick around. Not anymore." He was sort of fancying the farms but he wasn't entirely sure whether to stay there. Being a kittypet was out of the question, and he'd already done the whole alley cat thing. Right now he could just be considered a wanderer or a traveler. Although.. not always typically the most gentle or approachable one. Actually quite the opposite.
Although he'd made efforts to cut back a bit of his wild attitude to a certain degree, seeming more calm but certainly no different in terms of threatening others or getting angry if they bothered him.
"What exactly are you here for?" He asked, though not showing too much interest in his tone.

The tom on the other paw seemed perfectly fine with throwing social norms out the window.
That would've been nice to know a minute ago. Sheesh. Now he had sat down. She sat where she stood as well. Hm. His slightly vague answer held enough answers. Then he elaborated. Seemed once he had somewhere to settle, but now settled for a wandering loner. Hm.
Natalia preferred to generally stay in one place. Before she'd joined Deathclan, she had made her home around here in the meadow. It was a nice place... Usually. She didn't like the unknown variables that came in many forms when one traveled to new areas. She didn't quite have a firm grip on Deathclan's territory, which is why she'd come back. This tom didn't seem all too interested, but posed a question of his own, nevertheless.
She shrugged. "Returning to a place of familiarity."
