Windswirl walked with Swirlpaw to the territory as they both arrived she said,''Ok, you'll be learning some battle moves today. It's important to have such skills enhanced.''
''Do you know any simple moves lately, some are very easy.'' Wndswirl mewed to Swirlpaw happy to help.

Swirlpaw followed her mentor to the training hollow slightly more relaxed than she'd usually be. She listened carefully to the warrior, and at the mention of battle training she perked up. It's not that she wanted battle, she absolutely hated it, but this way she'd finally learn hire to defend herself despite her lack of vision. At the question of knowing any moves, the apprentice offered a nod and dropped into a crouch. Carefully she closed her eyes, as most in battle would focus on where the other was looking. She began to weave back and forth, circling her mentor slowly, occasionally darting in for a confusing mock blow before she twitched her ears to pinpoint her mentor's location and went to swipe her paws out from under her. There was no questions, not even a sound made, for a moment she wondered if her apprentice was okay but the next, it looked like Swirlpaw was figuring out what move to do first. Windswirl understood. Than she noticed she was being circled, once just made her dizzy and was struck right from beneath. Staying in a low crouch for a moment, Windswirl aimed a paw blow to her left shoulder.

The fact that there was no thud told her the warrior had stayed upright, and so she crouched in wait for her mentor to attack. Knowing there was nothing also to rely on, she pricked her ears carefully, straining to catch Windswirl's motions. A swoosh of wind rung in her ears just as a paw struck her shoulder, causing her to stumble over slightly. Yes, that was what she needed to listen for. Twitching her ears, she pinpointed where the paw had come from, and aimed slightly higher around the face area, swatting out forcefully to strike a blow at her mentors head. Edit: Windswirl

Swirlpaw fell over, but in a nanosecond, she put a blow to her face, Windswirl felt it. A blow right on her muzzle. She then went behind her and attempted to push Swirlpaw down with both paws..

Swirlpaw knew her mentor felt the blow, but she had strength and experience on her side. Swirlpaw had only managed to learn moves by herself. She could not watch other kits and apprentice's when she was young, and so she'd known little of what to do in accordance. As the warrior approached from behind and pinned her, instinct kicked in. It was one thing to approach a blind cat without warning, but from behind? Instantly instinct kicked in and she thrust upward to free herself from the other's grip before whipping round and snapping at the warrior, aiming toward the nearest foreleg with powerful jaws before leaping at her to knock her to the ground. Even if her teeth missed, the warrior would still be unbalanced from whipping the leg away. Edit: Tag, Windswirl

Her apprentice was pinned, and Windswirl knew it was a cheeky move to make, coming from behind under such circumstances. Despite being bigger than Swirlpaw, there was always a way to get out of such a hold. There she was thrown off with Swirlpaw gathering much strength. Managing to hold her ground, Windswirl saw her coming for her leg but was too slow to make move and was knocked to the ground with a thud, her leg being hit and the breathed knocked out of her. ''Very ..,good.'' She managed to cough the words out, slowly getting up, not doing anything yet. ''Have you heard of the me back-kick?'' It's also another move when one sneaks up on you by surprise, what you do is, and how you can practise is with a tree, or putting all your weight on your front paws and kicking your back legs to lash out at your opponent, guaranteed hit!'' Windswirl explained to Swirlpaw with a encouragement.

Swirlpaw carefully approached where the thud had came from. She half expected a retaliation as she reached her mentor and tough her muzzle to her flank gently. Feeling she was fine, just a little out of breath, the apprentice sat down and smiled lightly at her. Unsure of what else to do. Of course, she was still ready to spring away. Whether it be toward the medicine cat's den, or simply out of range of powerful kicks. Yet she wasn't surprised when Windswirl ended it there, wheezing out a congratulations that made the young feline smile.
As the warrior continued to speak, she listened intently, ears twitching with interest. As the she-cat finished speaking, Swirlpaw got to her paws and shuffled back a little. She closed her eyes again, her favourite method in anything really. Leaning forward slightly on her front paws, she pricked her ears and swivelled them round as though seeking a fight to join in. Her imaginary warrior noticed this distraction and stalked toward her for the attack. Yet Swirlpaw was quick, she caught the sounds he/she was making and waited patiently till it was close enough. Once they reared up slightly to score her hind quarters, she lashed out with her hind legs, claws and all. Sending him reeling backward.
Snapping out of her mini scene, the young feeling turned her attention back to her mentor, wandering if she'd done the action correctly. "Was that right?" she questioned lightly, ears twitching toward the warrior.

''Very.'' She replied, quite happy,''That would be enough to knock your opponent down.' Also, you can take your opponent by surprise by leaping on their back, with that you can do some damage to them, but they will try shake you off or do a body slam, you have to be quick and jump off in time before your crushed.'' She explained,''All your battle moves were good too.'' ''Anything else you'd like to learn?'' Windswirl asked Swirlpaw.

Swirlpaw pricked her ears and listened. She was quite content with just that. Listening. She felt like it was the best way to sponge in all the wisdom of those elder than herself. And she often felt she could do good with the wisdom. The be honest, listening was her most required necessity. Especially as sight and watchfulness was not an option for the young feline. Once the warrior had praised her, as well as offered her wisdom in battle and training, the young apprentice nodded contentedly. "I think I have a lesser chance of being crushed. Even as a kit, I could never look for signs like most, and so when I play-fought and got on another's back, I would try to feel the tension in their body, especially their muscles. Such is always the tell tale sign." she nodded, as though convincing herself this was correct despite the fact that the nod was needless. As the warrior questioned her need for further Intel, she simply shook her head. "I know you could teach me more. Though I want the chance to teach myself and work alongside my peers." show bowed her head politely, blank and sightless gaze almost staring into her soul. Windswirl

She nodded, play fighting was good and when she finished speaking, Windswirl said,"Okay, you can surprise me when that comes." The warrior said kindly,"I'd figured we will hunt as we head back, more practise for you unless you feel it's not needed." She purred.

Swirlpaw purred slightly and bowed her head. She wasn't sure if her mentor was teasing her with her words over the mention of there being no need to continue. Yet taking in the warrior's gentle tone, she smiled and shrugged it off, blinking her sightless eyes gently at her before opening her mouth to get a taste for the surrounding area. It was a mere matter of seconds before she picked up the scent of a mouse and lowered her head toward the ground, following the trail with her nose and using memory and all her other senses to navigate around rocks and anything she could possibly step on. It wasn't long before she'd dropped into a crouched and testing the wind direction, shifting her position in an instant. Her ears perked to catch the telltale scuffling and small squeaks of a mouse, and she had to refrain from purring as her tongue passed over her lips. Driving herself forward, she landed almost squarely on her prey and quickly buried it, already testing for more scents. She caught rabbit, yet as she heard it bounding rapidly toward what she assumes was either its burrow, or Fireclan territory, she realised she'd be unable to chase after it without tripping or injuring herself. As well as the fact she wasn't nearly fast enough and would have to rely on its scent and sound of movement alone. Shaking her head contemtously, she set off after a vole instead, whiskers twitching with anticipation. ( Windswirl)

She's becoming into a great warrior. As Swirlpaw did her searched, Windwirl padded forward to two trees leading down her path, scenting a sparrow, one pecking at the ground, grabbing a worm in the process. Quickly, she crouched coming forward quietly, and the bird began to fly off two inches off the ground as Windswirl pounced at it and the bird making a muffled squawk at the end of it but not enough that a whole flock would take off. Biting the neck she left it by the tree so keep hunting, wondering how Swirlpaw was doing, she looked behind and saw her white fluffy fur in the distance just in time to see her capture a rabbit or attempted to and it did go to Fireclan. She was glad Swirlpaw got used to where everything was so quickly, not upset because of the rabbit loss. Windswirl went to get the sparrow and made her way over to Swirlpaw's direction.

Swirlpaw purred in satisfaction as she bit into the vole's neck. Too bad she hadn't managed that rabbit. Though she could hardly chase it if she couldn't see it, could she. Shrugging, she buried her vole and went on. Soon enough, she caught the scent of a thrush, having flown in from Treeclan. Twitching her ears toward the wind, she listened for it tugging on a worm or pecking for seeds, and found it was seemingly performing the latter. Dropping into a crouch, she stalked forward carefully until she was close enough. Unfortunately, the scent and sound of her mentor returning caused the young apprentice to hesitate to long, as well as frighten the bird. It launched itself into the air in a flurry of drifting feathers. As it opened its mouth to let out a squawk of panic, Swirlpaw hissed abruptly and propelled herself after it. She was not about to lose another kill. Just as it let out a single call, she batted it out of the air and snapped its neck, twitching her tail irritably at her hesitation. Dipping her head to Windswirl, she trotted off to collect her mouse and vole before heading toward the warrior and placing all three catches proudly at her paws. Hunting was doing well this season, and she'd caught well in a short time. Twitching her nose, she caught the scent of freshly killed sparrow and smiled at her mentor sweetly. ( Windswirl)

Just as she was arriving, Swirlpaw was on the next capture. Sitting she watched, very impressed. With sheer speed, she caught it with a clawed paw. as Swirlpaw went to gather up the other prey, when she returned, Windswirl complimented,"Well done." She went to get the mouse and just before picking them up, she said,"Let's head back now shall we?" She said with a purr. Having a mouthful of three prey may be too much to carry so she figured she would help out with that. She never really had a full conversation with her outside of traning, maybe they could.
