Dark Jays come in the night (p)

Night was falling, coming faster than Jaykit wanted it to. He sat on his favorite rock in the middle of the camp, staring off into the distance. There was no movement at the entrance, but he still wanted to watch. He almost looked like part of the rock itself, with his gray colored pelt. As the night came, fog came with it, shrouding the camp in cool darkness, it was almost eerie. Jay's turquoise eyes burned through the fog as he peered around at each crevice of the camp, his eyes finding a quick movement in the shadows. He stared, squinting his eyes to try to see better through the fog. He was smart, knowing not to all out when others were trying to fall asleep, and besides, that might alert the thing moving. He dropped into a crouch, sliding of the rock and quickly padding, still crouched, over to a bush, closer to the movement. He waited, making sure not to take an eye off of whatever it was.

Blackkit saw his brother trying to see him in the fog. ¨Ahh¨ he yelled as he jumped on his brother,
as they started to wrestle.  Using his bigger body to his advantage. 

[Jaypaw]

The shadow suddenly sprung at him, and Jaykit noticed it was Darkkit. He knocked him over and started to wrestle him. Even though Jay was somewhat smaller, and weaker, he was leaner and quicker than Dark. He slipped out of the grip of the other tom and turned to pounce on his back, aiming to land square on his shoulders. "Don't scare me like that!" He mewed as she pounced.

"You and your bragging," Jay shook his head in a teasing way, squinting his eyes together to make his look for fierce. "Let's see who wins in a race, then."
