Silverwhisker
Stormfrost was a senior warrior which meant he slept in the
center of the warriors den with the others. He padded out of the
den and spotted one of them almost instantaneously. "Morning,
Silverwhisker," the tom said with a smile upon his grey muzzle.

 Silverwhisker Silverwhisker sunbathed on a short, flat rock in the middle of camp. Since it was cold, and the sun was out, probably for a few seconds, she tried to get the most of it. She turned herself onto her other side and realized someone had greeted her. "Oh, good morning to you, too, Stormfrost."

"Mind if I join you?" He asked as he walked over to her.
"I haven't seen you in a while. How are you lately?"

Silverwhisker Silverwhisker nodded, "Sure," she mewed deciding to sit up on the low rock, leaving room for the tom if he wanted to sit on it too. "Ah decent," she mewed with a smile, then she narrowed her eyes a bit, "Wait a second.. you're a grandfather, aren't you?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Stormfrost gave a surprised nod as he sat down next to
Silverwhisker. He didn't realize the news got around but he
guessed it had been a while since he had been made a grandpa
so it's not too surprising that people know about it.
"Yes, proud grandpa of seven," He said with a grin.

Silverwhisker Silverwhisker sniffed the air, and gave out a small yawn. "Wow seven?" she asked, I have no grandchildren.. But.. you know, I have very, very many kits.." The tabby sighed, shrugging.

Stormfrost gave a nod. "Yes, I've met a few of them I believe.
Some are still kits and some are warriors," he informed her
and tilted his head at the mention of her kits. "So I've heard."
The tom noticed her sigh and added, "Is that a bad thing?"

Stormfrost tilted his head but didn't think it wise to inquire too
deeply. Yet he managed to say something. "Well at least you
get to watch them grow up. I've hardly been around for
my kits' lives. I hardly speak to any of them except for
one, and they don't exactly like me either." He said as he
looked down.

Silverwhisker Silverwhisker shrugged, "Oh, well... when I was a queen, I barely saw them the first six moons of their lives... I still never see very many.." she said. "Your kit's still probably love you, even if you lived beyond IceClan." She sniffed, "Why wouldn't they like you anyway?"

Stormfrost put his tail on Silverwhisker's shoulder. "Their
personalities tend to clash with mine sometimes. And it's
like I've hardly been in their lives so when I see them
they give me a cold shoulder," He said with a shrug. "I
didn't mean to make you upset if I did, by talking about
this." Stormfrost said.

Stormfrost returned the smile, grateful that he didn't upset her.
"I certainly hope they still love their old man." He gave a
small chuckle. "I'm glad I didn't upset you. It's just an
interesting topic; kits and all I mean."

Stormfrost shook his head. "Nope.. Nope.. I'm too young for
great grandchildren. Then again, no I'm not." He rubbed his
head with a paw and gave a smile. "I'm going to be old papa
to the little ones," Stormfrost said and wondered exactly how
he would be able to keep track of all the little ones.
