Ospreypaw wasn't exactly accepted by everyone. He'd been a rogue for most of his life, and it just didn't seem to be right that the other cats didn't like him. Weird right? The tom lay in a nest that seemed to have a stale scent to it, maybe that meant that it wasn't somebodys. Hopefully a good thing.
"Hello?" He called out.

Ripplepaw padded into the apprentices den, although he was far from cheerful at the moment. He hadn't gone training in ages and he felt as though he was stuck. He wasn't progressing as a warrior at all... The tom grimaced at the thought of being an apprentice forever.
He noticed that someone had called out to him. 'Hello?'
Okay, so maybe not to him, but he was pretty sure he was supposed to answer. He froze, dumbfounded, not knowing what to say. He hadn't really been expecting to talk to anyone else; Not that he couldn't, he was just bad at it. It had probably been quite an awkwardly long pause before Ripplepaw managed to reply to the voice, who he noticed belonged to a tom sitting in a nearby nest.
"Oh, um, hello." He mewed, wincing at how awkward he sounded. He cleared his throat and tried again. "Er, we haven't met before, right? I'm Ripplepaw." He bowed his head as he introduced himself. |

The brown and creme tom picked his head up and smiled at the white tom. His eyes were weird, Ospreypaw noticed. It wasn't a bad weird, in fact it was actually a good weird. Noting his awkward introduction, the tom sat up and nodded his head.
"No, i don't believe we've met. I'm Ospreypaw. Who's your mentor?" He asked, awkwardly trying to make a conversation.

Ripplepaw grinned kindly. "Nice to meet you Ospreypaw!" He mewed, but hesitated on the next question before answering. "The thing is, my mentor isn't really... around. Her name was Cloudfrost, but I haven't seen or trained with her in a long time. So technically, the answer to your question is... I don't have one. I'd like one though..." He paused before adding, "Well, what about you? Who's your mentor?" |

Ospreypaw smiled at the other tom and curled his tail over his paws. Cloudfrost? He had Cloudfrost too! Well.. had her anyway.
"Nice to meet you too Ripplepaw. And a long time ago I was given Cloudfrost too. I haven't seen her since either. Now I have a different mentor. I don't remember his name honestly.. Spruceclaw..?" He meowed, trying to remember. "I'm bad with names"
