NataliaPatch was, err... Rather quiet today, she had decided to think about why she had images of unknown. The she-cat had given up hunting to stay in the clearing and stare up at the sky, even letting a field mouse slip by. Footsteps were heard and Patch sat up, glaring at the interferer. "Can't you see I'm thinking about life here?" She growled.

Natalia had been wandering once more.
Deciding to practice how to avoid interactions while being amongst cats. Seeing as she needed to learn how to ignore cats, she decided to come to a place that was slightly more frequented by cats. She noticed a cat sitting as a mouse passed her by. Unfortunately, Natalia had been caught by surprise and also missed.
She flattened her ears and looked to the cat who didn't even try to catch it. Seriously, who let a perfectly good piece of prey slip through, without even raising a claw. She approached and the moron growled at her.
"I think you should be doing less thinking and more doing. You missed an opportunity for food."

Patch growled more as the other she-cat spoke, pinning her ears down. Even though she felt angered, she didn't want this to turn into another Slate accident, she had enough scars. "I can hunt later, I'm much better hunting at night." She replied, rolling her eyes. "And Iddon't see you with the mouse." She added with a smirk.

Natalia flattened her ears.
This she-cat seemed determined to be the one with pride in this situation. What was the point of that? Pride didn't do much other than make yourself feel good. All that mattered was survival in this world.
"Most cats when they're hunting are actually looking for prey. Not wandering around when a mouse blows them by. I thought you would've known that mice in particular are sensitive. You need to catch them unawares with finesse and precision. Not chase after them while they're running away!" She responded, annoyed.

Patch's smirk faded and her whiskers twitched, this cat wanted to play the word game, didn't she? The other she-cat laughed to herself and got to her paws. "Ah, playing smart? You amuse me." She said, her smirk regaining form. "You think you know it all to hunting? First to catch a mouse fair and square wins." She explained.

Natalia wasn't sure if she wanted to play a game with this strange feline.
Her ears flicked. This she-cat... Seemed a little bit on the off side. She hoped it wasn't some psychopath who would try to murder Natalia if she lost. Regardless, she seemed to bounce back fairly quickly. She shrugged. "I don't pretend to be an expert." Her tail was raised high. "But... I must question what is the point of this competition before I accept or deny."

Patch kept still, shuffling her paws. The question didn't really shock her, cats did have a right not to trust her. Calmly, the she-cat tilted her head to the side. "Its getting a bit uneventful here, and competitions are always fun." She mewed with a faded smile.

Natalia could be possibly viewed as strange.
She didn't find competitions particularly appealing to begin with. What was the point, after all? She had inclination to prove her 'superiority' or anything. She did not have any delusions that would compel her to believe she'd be automatically better than any cat she met.
Her tail waved from side to side behind her. This other she-cat- Natalia realized at this she didn't even have a name - seemed to take all of this in stride. A slight improvement from the rather cranky and hostile mood from before.
"Mm... Forgive me if I don't see the appeal in competition." She meowed flatly.
