Bramblekit made his way out of the nursery trying to avoid being trampled. The dark brown looked around and spotted his mother Doestrike. "Hi momma what are your doing?" He felt uneasy saying momma because it was kinda childish. But Bramblekit was not embarrassed of his own mother

The she-cat was laying on her back, absorbing the chill coming off the snow. Earlier in the day, her kit Sorrelkit had been around when she was warming up in the sun, now she was chilling off in the snow. Seeing her son Bramblekit, she grinned. It was good to see that her children were out and about.

"Yes son? I'm just cooling down, I felt a little warm." She replied, nuzzling her sons head.

Bramblekit sighed. "When is Leafbare going to end?" He asked. The tabby looked at his mother

The she-cat looked at him with a smile and nuzzled his head.

"It won't be soon now kiddo, i can feel it in my paws" She purred.
