Lonekit got my muse back Shadekit trotted around camp, rain coming down on him. It was the first rain he had really ever seen, and it felt nice. Stepping in puddles, he looked around, spotting a kit around the same age as him. Thinking it was nice to meet someone around his age besides his sisters might be nice. "Hello?" He mewed, smiling at the kit awkwardly.

Lonekit glared half-heartedly at the rain as it fell. With a burning passion, she hated being wet. She sat beneath a small ledge, just barely sheltered from the rain. She saw a kit around her age trotting through the camp, obviously not caring that he was getting soaked. She locked gazes with him and raised her tail in greeting.

Shadekit didn't mind getting wet at all, he actually found rain as relaxing. But when a crack of thunder sounded, the dark tom sprang up. Looking back at the other cat, his face turned red with embarrassment. He shook his long pelt and waved his tail back, looking even more awkward.

Lonekit twitched her whiskers in amusement when she saw the other cats embarrassed face. She too had jumped in surprise when the clap of thunder sounded through the sky. It was loud and sudden, and quite honestly she hit her head on the ledge when she jumped. It hurt a bit, but at least she wasn't getting wet. She beckoned Shadekit over with her tail invitingly, saying without words 'Come here'. If there was thunder, there was bound to be lightning, so the both of them would need some form of shelter she supposed.

Shadekit was shaking at the sounds of thunder, and when he was invited to sit in shelter, he ran under the ledge immediately. Edging from the she-kit to avoid getting her wet, he kept an eye on the sky, looking out for lightning. "Thanks." He said tersely to her, still staring off into the storm filled sky.
