I'd woke up, cold and alone in my nest. It was happening all the time now. Even though she hadn't been born long, she could see it happening. Her little mind had a hard time comprehending it, though. Was the world ending? No, that was absurd! I was probably just imagining things.
Why do you ask that, little kitten?
The voice in my head wouldn't go away. It had been there ever since the day I came into the world. As I looked around, I noticed that none of the queens were here. "Hello?" I called out. No kits were in sight either. Were they all outside?

Silentkit knew not why she was here, but she knew she didn't belong. She wasn't meant to be here. She remembered briefly travelling alongside her sister. Lost. And being taken from where they had been, to where they were. She remembered a voice, always telling her she didn't belong. She wasn't worthy. Yet it wasn't her own. And it wasn't familiar. In fact, it belonged to no-one. The first hearing of the phenomenon had left the youngling traumatised. Yet she had quickly grown used to it, as it was almost a comfort to her. It was the only being of which could hear her. Though others still understood her. One such feline was her sister. She didn't know much of the other she-kit. She could talk, and looked just like their father. She knew her name, but couldn't remember what she looked like. What her voice sounded like it. And it was turmoil.
After wandering around her most recent surroundings for a good ten minutes, the troubled kitten caught the gaze of another, of whom murmured a questioning hello. Silentkit perked her ears warily and approached, paw by paw, until she was standing before the other. Her eyes asked questioned 'what's wrong?' Her bobdy clearly showed she was hesitant and unsure, almost scared. Her heart was pummelling the inside of her chest, Swim away fishy, before you end up drowning in the deep end... The voice hissed menacingly in her head, almost mind shattering, and she responded to it tartly in her brain. Maybe you should come out here yourself then. Oh wait, you can't! She was so glad the other couldn't hear the inner argument going on. You're right, I can't. Not yet at least... Her mind buzzed. So many voices, yet none of them would ever be hers.
(As a side note. She's mute. Would you like you're kitty to play the sisterly role? That would explain the voices for both, of which they inherited from their father's side. But it skipped a generation, and he missed it. So the sisters were not warned of the possibility. The muteness came from their mother's side, though it's fairly uncommon and only got to Silentkit. Or Miatu (me-ah-to) as was her previous name. She was doted Silentkit when she was taken in due to her little, problem... So, just respond via PM or OC in thread like this. @sos )
