Irritation irked at the young kitten,churning inside her and boiling her insides. This wasn't exactly the life she wanted to live. If only her father had any sense in him. Maybe she might have known of the voices, and then she would have expected him. Yet no, she just had to learn about it herself. She was glad he was a new voice, after skipping a generation. Therefore, he had no experience and wasn't making her totally insane. I'm sort of glad you're my first test subject kitty. You're so much more fun than that little whimp you call a sister.  to be honest, he wasn't so bad. Yet the way he spoke of her sister made her want to drown herself in order to shut him up. Maybe she ought to try that afterall. She shook her head impatiently. No,that was a stupid idea. Attempting to ignore his constant blabbering, despite the fact he continued on after his irritating comment, she gazed around camp for someone to, listen to? Yes, that was it. She couldn't exactly respond to them, now could she? Well, that was the one minor highlight of this voice in her head. She could actually respond to him. Silently and only in her mind of course.

As the voice went on riling her up, she gazed around awkwardly, practically blocking him out to a buzzing in her ears. He seemed indignant about this, but she didn't care. Her ears perked up slightly as she spotted someone, and she was about to invite them over, and then she realised they'd be utterly confused when she didn't utter a word in their presence. Probably ship her over to the medicine den, get again. Only to be told there was no use in it and she was going to be like this forever. She'd already faced that fact. It was simple. Though sometimes she wished she could express herself audibly. Despite how easy she was to read without such a gift. Or simplicity in another's case. Her tail tip twitched and tapped against the ground. She was desperately in need of a distraction, and as her green eyes blinked up again, she spotted one who seemed to willing as they seemingly noticed her too.

Icepaw had been bored out of her mind. Nothing really new had happened, just boring training, nothing was wrong with her mentor. No, Petalfur was an excellent mentor and she wouldn't be happier with a different one. Though lately training was slow. She was nearing her warrior ceremony and she was nervous, being a warrior was like anyone else, her dream. But she still felt she wasn't ready for the large responsibility as a warrior. She'd have training apprentices, possibly a mate at some point and other warrior duties. It would drive her insane and that would be horrible for her self esteem.

Suddenly Icepaw was brought out of her deep thought when she spotted a younger kit who looked to be nearing apprenticeship. Icepaw saw the kits hesitation as if she was wondering if she should invite her over. Icepaw was always one to be kind and decided to be the happy go lucky apprentice ship is and go greet the possible friend. Her paws tingled with nervousness as she neared her. Finally she reached a point where she was close enough she could greet the cat in a kindly matter. "Hi I'm Icepaw. Nice to meet you." She smiled kindly her tail swaying with a little happiness.

Miatu's eyes widened in shock as the other cat actually approached her. And not with the intention of asking that she move, or head straight back to the nursery. As they moved closer, she noticed the other was not some happy-go-lucky kit. In fact, they were an apprentice, almost upon warrior hood by means of maturity, size and age. However, clearly not in the ways of confidence as she clearly sensed hesitation coming of the Iceclanner in waves. She shuffled back nervously, and lowered her head in shame as the other stated it was nice to meet her. She knew this was not true. "Nice to meet you" she says. Who is she kidding? You're so useless that you can't even speak. What's so 'nice' about that? Miatu had to refrain herself from a sharp hiss. She muttered a curse back at the Tom in her head before smiling slightly at the she-cat, though her eyes remained trained upon her paws. Realising it was rude not to respond. She dipped her head in polite greeting, as well as mouthing her name. She mouthed 'Miatu' first. Though after a pause, she quickly mouthed 'or Silentkit' as well. She didn't want to mouth to much, as the older feline might get confused. She signalled with her tail an inviting gesture, and tilted her head in an almost questioning, uncertain gesture, wanting to know if there was more the other wanted to know of or tell her.
