(Hehe, Silentkitpaw XD) Miatu nodded in confirmation, tilting her head slightly to one side before listening to the other continue. Games? She didn't know any nursery games, but she remembered her and her brother's play fights they used to have. A little too real for the clan, it seemed, but she didn't know that yet. Shrugging, she crouched down in a trained battle stance and lashed her tailed from side to side, showing sharp little teeth and thorn like claws. Yes, her and her brother used to play with claws and teeth as well. Though with her father, and his training sessions, it was almost like she was fighting for her life. In her sibling tussles, they'd come away with only shallow scratches their mother would like and dab with cobwebs. She nodded to the younger kitten as a signal to attack, and wondered if they had a name for fight games in these clans.

Lakekit Lakekit just watched for a moment or two, seeing the other feline's reaction. The tabby got up, about to suggest a game, but saw that the older cat found an idea. "Battle?" she questioned, and slowly got into an awkward crouching position. The tabby just lunged aimlessly, not knowing much about battling, or less, a fake battle.

As the other dropped into a crouch and lunged randomly, Miatu sheathed her claws, deciding the other had too little experience, and it wouldn't be a fair fight if Lakekit wasn't using her claws. Narrowing her eyes, she lashed her tail irritably and did nothing but swing out of the way as the other leapt at her. Pricking her ears, she darted in and aimed a swipe at the other's forelegs and flank before leaping back again and blinking determinedly.

Lakekit Lakekit hopelessly watched as the other moved out of the way, and even swiped at her. She felt her forelegs go from underneath her, and flinched as a soft paw barely touched her side. She was sprawled out on the ground for a second, but then got up. The odd-looking tabby then tried to spin around quickly and dive for the other's back legs.

She felt satisfaction, and a little pity as the younger hit the ground. Briefly remembering her own teaching, and how she'd been brought up, as well as her play fight habits with her brother, she wondered if she'd been too tough on the small Iceclan kitten. Twitching her ears, her eyes betrayed a slight hint of worry as she approached. Yet the other leaped to her paws rather quickly and darted at her hind legs, sending Miatu to hit the ground in her turn. Purring in amusement, the older feline shot to her paws before one could say 'mouse' and darted at her companion, taking a route that seemingly led to the others shoulder before she veered and made to bunt the other in the flank with her head, tail flickering determinedly.

Lakekit Unlike her usual calm self, she smirked a small bit, seeing she had knocked her over, at least a little. She was about to dodge from an expected shoulder attack but was nearly frightened from the quick head-butt to her flank. She was on her side for a second, but hopped up, panting a little, her smirk faded with a now more normally calm look.

Miatu noticed she'd knocked Icekit to the ground, though this time, she didn't allow any worry. In fact, she merely prepared herself for the next attack. As expected, the other sprung to her paws with a grin. Though her smirk faded to a calm expression and she didn't attack in her turn. Taking this as an invitation to stop and allow herself to relax her tense muscles, she gave the other and awkward nod and sat down, licking a ruffled patch of fur on her left shoulder where she'd landed in the dust.

Lakekit Lakekit huffed, and noticed the other sat. She immediately sat down and her head curled around her body as she licked up her fur. "You're young.. I wonder how you got to be so good." she said rather simply.

At the other's question, the older paused mid-lick and rose her head, tongue snaking back into her mouth as she gives the other a haunted look, briefly picturing the wounds her father had inflicted upon her within their sessions. Even her play fights had been rough, including claws and teeth to end in at least minor scratches. Every training session had almost ended up as a fight for her life. However, she recovered herself, blinking at the younger feline before offering an indifferent shrug.

Lakekit Lakekit noticed the unstable look and tilted her head slightly, she then decided not to question it further. After the shrug, she felt less pushy, and relaxed. "What may your favorite color be?"

Miatu was glad when the younger kitten changed the subject, but her face didn't show it. At her next question, the feline was about to offer another unsure shrug, when a fleeting thought came to mind, getting to her paws, she went back to her nest, sniffed around a bit, and came back to the other with a small blue flower tinged purple at the tips of each petal. It was from her home, and would always hold a special place in her heart. Soon enough, once the ones she had were wilted, she would return and find new ones. Though for now these would do, and in answer to the kit's question, this was technically her favourite flower. The mysterious, meaningful, almost glowing hue of the forever lasting flower. As she placed it down, a gentle smile touched her face and she blinked almost lovingly at it before returning it back from whence it camp and sitting near Lakekit once more.

Lakekit Lakekit watched as she walked away, and picked up a pretty looking flower. The sight of it made Lakekit smile a bit, "Those are pretty flowers, Silentkit." The tabby blinked, "To be honest, I'm not sure what my favorite color would be.. I do like the blue sky, though."

The youngling smiled and nodded toward the other feline, not really sure why. Her mind was drifting now, running away with her and causing a turmoil in her head. Absently she nodded again in agreement. The sky was rather pretty, she decided, glancing out at the blue mass. Okay, so it was semi-pale here, and she longed for the warm blue that circled the golden orb dangling precariously above them. She blinked thoughtfully before returning her attention the the she-kit, not really sure what to do. Her eyes sort of said she'd like some time alone, as a said look washed through them for a second as she thought of how her sister and herself would always admire the sky whenever they had little else to do or think of.
(Finish up in a few? Both are apprentice's now and this is sorta dragging)

Lakepaw Lakekit sighed, "Yea.. it's.." she took a small yawn, "It's pretty. I like the sunrise too, when I'm awake for it." The tabby began to feel more sleepy, and wondered if the older feline felt the same.

Miatu blinked at her new friend and smiled. She could tell by her yawn that the younger was tired, and though she hated to admit it, so was she. Her jaws stretched wide in a yawn to highlight this. Uncurling her tail, the young feline gets to her paws, dips her head to Lakekit with a glinting smile, and disappears into the shadowy den for a rest. She soon buries herself deep into the moss, gives the smaller feline a sweet and gentle smile, before closing her eyes and tucking her tail over her paws, soon falling asleep with her settled mind.
