Spruceclaw

Finchkit scampered out of the nursery looking around the camp hoping to spot someone. The light brown tabby she-kit sat down. Finchkit fixed her gaze on a dark brown Tom. Spruceclaw! "Hi Daddy" Finchkit meowed curling her tail. "Is being a warrior fun?"

(That's great. just for future reference spruceclaw is dark brown.)

Spruceclaw was daydreaming as he padded through camp. he was startled as he heard a small voice off to his right. he turned and padded over to the small kit recognizing her immediately by her pelt. it was as if his own was covered in sand. "My finch." he mewed padding over to her and licking her between the ears. "Oh, its boring. but what about you how are you? Have you made any friends?" he asked excitedly.

Finchkit smiled at her father. "I'm doing great. I met a few cats everyone is friendly so far"

[Spruceclaw]

"Well I'm glad you're doing well. how's your mother?" He asked trying to hude his curiosity.

[Finchpaw]

Finchkit smiled. "She's doing great. I just talked to her" she meowed. The light brown tabby looked at her father. "Do you have any apprentices yet. How was your apprenticeship?  She asked wondering if he will answer

[Spruceclaw]

"Good." he purred thinking of sandy. he was so lost in thought that he almost missed her question. "Oh, i have two apprentices. my apprenticeship was one of the best times of my life because id just follow dapplecloud around learning everything i could. During my time off id go to your mother and wed spend the afternoon exploring or playing. I've only been happier twice before and the most happiest I've been was on the day you all were born." He mewed.

Finchkit smiled not knowing what to ask. "When I'm an apprentice maybe we could all go hunting together" she suggested

[Spruceclaw]

"Yes all of us as a family hunting would be great." He purred at the thought. "I wonder if my old mentor is taking on apprentices shee be great for any of you." he wondered.

[Finchpaw]

Finchkit nodded. "I hope I get good mentor" she murmured. The cold wind make Finchkit shiver. "I'm cold"

[Spruceclaw]

Spruceclaw stood and moved over to his daughter. he curled up next to her and wrapped his tail around her. he bent down and licked her between the ears. "Is that better?" He asked.

Finchkit nodded a little bit still trying to keep warm. "Can we play a game" she asked
