Dreampaw sighed. She had to check the elder's for ticks. With the mouse bile on a leaf, she went into the Elder's Den. She padded up to Maplefrost, and placed the mouse bile near where she sat down. Why do the elders always have ticks nowadays? Are ticks just attracted to elder's or something? Dreampaw thought.

MAPLEFROST OF ICECLAN

Maplefrost had been fast asleep when Dreampaw walked in, and it was several moments before the apprentice's lingering presence - paired with the distinct reek of mouse bile - caused him to drift into wakefulness. He shifted into a sitting position with a disgruntled noise.

"Who is it? Are you here to take care of my ticks or are you just planning on waving that bile all around the den?" asked the blind elder sleepily.
