Swirlpaw huffed as her paw only grazed the warrior's nose. She could tell the warrior was about to stop, though now she'd seemingly changed her mind as she whipped toward her. Swirlpaw's ears twitched to catch the sound of paws. She wasn't falling for that. Whipping out of the way, she felt Windswirl's paws graze her side before she lined up like lightning and leapt at her mentor to know her down. She didn't had strength of size on her side, but the fact that her mentor wasn't braced for it would certainly help quite a lot. (Almost finishing up here?)

[Yeah!xD]
Swirlpaw dodged. The leap wasn't expected. But this time not falling she held her ground and bucked her off.
"All right enough." She said with a tiny purr.

Swirlpaw hit the ground slightly as she was bucked off, though she'd put up quite a fight to stay on. Scrambling to her paws, she shook the dust out of her frosty white pelt and nodded as Windswirl declared their little spat to be over. The blind apprentice twitched her ears slightly, yet as nothing more happened, she smiled at her mentor and approached. "What next?" She questioned, having dashed off to collect her prey, it now Kay at her paws and she wavered her tail slightly. This training session was her best yet. Though it was tiring her out, and she forced herself not to yawn as she awaited further instruction from her mentor. (Okay <3)

"Taking your brilliant prey back. " She said happily, and would mention the rest. Wait nevermind,"How do you think you did today?" She asked before helping picking up prey.

Swirlpaw smiled sweetly and nodded, picking up the remained of her prey. She was glad Windswirl was willing to carry some, as spclearly she wouldn't have made the request that she do so. As the warrior asked, she blinked slowly, unsure. She hadn't really thought about that much, as most apprentice's it was up to their mentor how they did. Not many tended to be questioned on their opinion of their asessment. The apprentice shrugged slightly, unsure of an answer. "Better than I expected, I suppose. Though I did lose that battle, which wasn't what I would have hoped." she had to speak around her prey, careful not to bite into it as she responded around a mouthful of rabbit fluff. "Though if we'd been using claws like a real battle would, I'd have had better grip, and might not have been thrown." she decided, following blindly alongside her mentor. Though now that she had more experience, she didn't feel so blind anymore.

She already picked up what prey she could and kinked her tail to say they were leaving. As they walked she nodded while listening. Couldn't say much now. Arriving, walking into camp she set the prey down,"Yes, claws will give you an advantage." She turned to her,"You had some clever moves there."Some just painful like that teeth-clamp "Well, little apprentice," She said playfully to Swirlpaw, resting a paw on her head, kind of giving her a pat of congratulations,"You did passed!" She purred, grabbing the other prey to set it in the food pile.

Swirlpaw soon fell silent and padded along obediently at her mentor's side. She no longer needed to brush against the warrior's side, yet she did so anyway, almost out of pure habit more than anything. They moved along silently, maintaining a quick pace and making good time as they soon had made it back home. The sun was still warm on their backs as they both deposited the prey they carried. Pricking her ears, the apprentice listened intently to Windswirl, curious as to what she had to say. Yet she merely agreed before complimenting her moves. The young feline dipped her head slightly with a sweet smile, preparing to head off. She was to meet up with Cloverstar's soon, as the leader invited her to come for a walk. Yet something suddenly landed on her head. The apprentice reeled in confusion, blinking, before noticing it was her mentor's paw. Well this is....strange... she thought confusedly. Though at the statement, she purred all the time and reached up to lick the warrior's shoulder like a ceremony. "I enjoyed learning under your aid. I shall try and be the best warrior I can be and teach my apprentice's just as well." She wriggled out from under the soft furred paw and bowed her head. "I best be going. I wouldn't want to keep Cloverstar's waiting for me." she bowed her head deeply, offered her mentor a purr and a gentle smile. She was about to move away, even taking a step to the side, before she stretched forward and touched her nose to Windswirl's muzzle before waving her tail and bounding away again. (Hehe, she gonna go find Cloverstar's now, as agreed in a previous thread with her <3)
