Swirlpaw had not been present at the recent ceremony, but she had not been far of. She had heard it clear as day, though had seen no reason to be there. She did not know the other cats, and she couldn't exactly witness it in sight anyway. Instead, she'd listened to the names, murmured a quick congratulations before heading out for a hunt. By the time she got back, there were a few new scents in the den, one of them fresh. Having just dropped off her prey, she bounded over to the den and ducked inside, padding over to the younger she-cat. Sorrelpaw she assumed. "Hello Sorrelpaw. Would you like some help with your nest?" she questioned sweetly, dipping her head slightly in greeting to the younger cat. She wondered what this younger was like, and how she'd enjoy her apprenticeship in their clan.

Sorrelpaw was not expecting company. Her ears perked when someone spoke. "Sure. What's your name?" The dilute calico asked

Swirlpaw wondered briefly if this new apprentice would have heard of her. Surely most of the camp knew by now of the blind white and silver patterned apprentice, correct? Shrugging, she set about helping her before tilting her head slightly to one side. 'My name is Swirlpaw" she added simply, with a sweet and gentle undertone as she helped the younger trainee with her nest. It certainly didn't take long, and so Swirlpaw sat down and set her sightless gaze on the other as though she could see her clear as day. Or at all that is.
