Duskrise's smile seemingly filled with warmth as his shock wore off, and she would have said something if she could. Instead, she just smiled happily before allowing her gaze to mirror his by drifting over the tree patterned landscape with much curiosity. Her ears flickered as he spoke, and she nodded, wondering briefly what it would be like to climb from tree to tree like a squirrel. Speak of the devil. A little bushy tailed squirrel launched upwards from the base of a nearby tree and disappeared into the branches, popping its head out briefly to chatter teasingly at her before disappearing from sight once more. Miatu just twitched her whiskers, amused, and blinked up at the spot it had disappeared to. It wasn't their clans squirrel, and it was over the border, so she saw no reason to hold a quarrel for it.

Duskrise saw Silentpaw's smile meeting his, and decided he should say something more. " You know... The other clans aren't so bad." He meowed softly. His thoughts drifted to his friend Finchsong, before he shook his head. Then he reapplied his smile. " Come. We've got some more places to go." He meowed, as he began to pad off again, this time towards the Rockclan border. He wondered how long it would be until he met her again... He spent a considerable time strolling along the Treeclan border trying to meet her again. But... He hadn't seen her again. He wondered if she was okay. He tried to push these thoughts away, as he attempted to focus on the training. (( Silentpaw I'm really sorry for not replying, it's just muse troubles and such. I'll try to reply soon.))

He seemed to be thinking of a certain cat. Like he was expecting someone close to him to just, appear. Miatu met his gaze for a breif moment, and blinked knowingly, before forcing back her smile as though she hadn't just looked at him as though she could read his mind. She nooded with interest as he spoke, and almost expected him to go on from his comment of the other clans, yet he drifted of, frowning in thought before smiling again and stating they best keep moving as they had further destinations to which they had to attend. Her ears flickered forward and she dipped her bed, cast another wary glance over her shoulder with her spine tingling, before bounding after him toward Rockclan. Clearly, he was deep in thought again, and she wondered who it was he so desperately thought of. If her assumptions were correct that is. (Edit: Duskrise . Thread dying cause forgot to tag, sorry)

Duskrise didn't notice Silentpaw's reactions to his off center statement as he led the way to the Rockclan border.
Once more the terrain shifted, the entire ground littered with steps as if someone tried to fuse the land with a staircase. He stopped right before the scent line and took a deep breath, preparing to ground himself in reality. He had an apprentice here, after all. He looked to his side to see if Silentpaw was there.
((Sorry... Kinda short and kinda late!))

Miatu followed obediently along at her mentor's side, eyes scanning the landscape. She was still a little jumpy, not bad though, just...The ground suddenly grew into small staircase like ledges that gained her attention as she stumbled slightly. Twitching her ears, she glanced up at Duskrise before bounding up each ledge with a small spring in her step, eyes narrowing in concentration not to trip or stumble again. Here the ground was rockier, and she wondered briefly why these cats loved rocks and gravel so much, wouldn't it graze their pads? But then again, they had the perfect sunning territory, and her clan did happen to live on a snowy mountain, so she was hardly one to judge. Her shifting paws stalled alongside the scent line, and she opened her jaws, allowing the scent to wash over her senses. How strange that they were all so similar in their beliefs and lifestyles, yet they had next to nothing in comment. She tilted her head to one side, tail tip twitching uneasily as the sensation of eyes returned to her. She glanced up at her mentor, lips curving up in an almost smile despite her unease. (No problem. I died for the weekend anyway, the log onto notice a plot and be like *gasps and logs on in record time*)

Duskrise opened his mouth to speak once more.
"This is the border we share with Rockclan. They're known for their tunneling abilities." He seemed to hum thoughtfully. "It's a bit different. Rather than a talent for traversing terrain, it's more so for alterations and adaptations." He noted. He smiled. "Next... I want to show you a few places within Iceclan's borders."
