(Geeze, no posts from November? Let me give you poor thing something to do for once xD)
Fernkit was feeling a little under the weather. Her stomach hurt really badly, and she had even vomited earlier, which prompted her to come here. It was just past sun-high, and she had been perfectly fine this morning. Maybe what she had eaten for breakfast had made her sick. But the mouse tasted perfectly fine. Fernkit mewled helplessly as she padded into the eerie Medicine Den, plopping down into a free nest until Anenomelight came to assist her.

Was... there someone in the den with her?
Of course, Anemonemist wasn't exactly ignorant of the other cats in RockClan, she certainly didn't believe any had a real reason to visit her. There weren't enough warriors to issue wars against neighboring Clans, or even enough foolish apprentices to tumble down cliffs and break their legs. RockClan was as safe as it was ghostly quiet. And she had grown used to the stuffiness of the medicine den, and the soft whirl of wind at her door.
Ane was almost convinced she had imagined a kitten stumble into the den and curl into one of the vacant nests. There couldn't have been a kitten there, right? Why would....
Oh, yes, it was a kitten. Of course it was prone to sickness. Whatever was wrong with it besides the lack of maturity. Taking a deep breath with a bored expression in her dusty blue eyes, Ane collected her knowledge on small kit ailments before whisking away from the back of her den and stalking towards the strange kitten. She wasn't intimidating, or at all angry. But she certainly did hate someone ruining the constant loop of events through her day. "What's wrong?" she asked bluntly, sniffing the kit for illness and awaiting a reply.
{ sorry for being late Fernpaw ^-^ }

(aahh, late reply! I'm so sorry D:)
Fernkit looked up pitifully at Anenomemist (I just realized I called you Anenomelight in my last post) and frowned. The she-cat didn't exactly seem friendly. Although Fernkit couldn't blame her. Being around sick and injured cats...sometimes..Must be a bit hard on one's personality. Fernkit admired and respected Medicine Cats, but couldn't imagine seeing her clan-mates in such rough shape all the time.
She sat up best she could, and her stomach rumbled in a bad way in response. "My tummy is hurting me, a lot....and I may have thrown up earlier." She said, looking down at her chest. It felt like her stomach was swirling around. "I was fine this morning. Maybe I ate bad prey?" She said, unsure of herself.

{ no, you're okay. It's fine. ^-^ }
Anemonemist(it's okay about the name thing) sighed as the she-kit explained the problem. A simple icky tummy. Of course, that was expected of kits. And it seemed she suspected the cause already in being bad prey. Another thing expected of kits, choosing food that wasn't good. Well, that could have been done by anyone, but kits had more of an excuse for being... well... less mature and aware of life compared to the adults. At the rumble from the kitten's stomach, Ane twitched an ear to show she heard the sound, before turning away. "If you're throwing up, I can't give you any herbs until you've actually stopped." she told the kit with another long sigh. But then the speckled healer stood and made her way to the back of the den where a small pool of fresh water beckoned her, and a pile of new moss sat at the ready. The medicine cat grasped one ball and dipped it in, soaking the moss, before carrying it back to the she-kit and setting it down at her paws. "Drink some water. Do you feel like you could puke again? Otherwise I can afford to give you some juniper berries." Juniper berries seemed as wiser choice than chervil. As Ane was certain the kitten would be more inclined to ingest berries rather than leaves.

Fernkit watched as Anenomemist padded away after explaining to her that if she was vomitting she could not receive treatment. Fernkit was disappointed and, while not annoyed, not pleased. Why was this just not her day? But, she did not complain. She knew better than to complain to a cat who was helping herself, especially one of rank such as Ane. Fernkit stayed still, with a few fidgets as her stomach grumbled, and watched as moss was dipped into a small hole filled with water in the back. She was amazed at Anenome's calmness. Had Brackensky been trying to do this, she'd probably keel over herself.
Ane walked back to Fernkit and told her to drink some water from the moss. Happy to oblige, and also wanting to follow the older she-cat's orders, she began to lap at the droplets that were running down the sides of the bad tasting green plant. Anenomemist then asked her if she felt sick. Fernkit shook her head gently as she lapped up more water, which was actually quite good for water sitting in a weird cave. Anenomemist then said that Fern could have some juniper berries, and she felt a bit happier. At least she'd get something to try and help her. After a few more licks of the moss she sat back and smiled at Anenomemist. "Thank you for the water, it was good, and definitely makes my mouth taste less...gross." She said, trailing off. "So, how about those juniper berries? My stomach feels good enough to keep some berries down." She said quietly, hoping Ane wouldn't change her mind.

Anemonemist felt at least a little bit better mood-wise when Fernkit didn't hesitate to do as instructed. At least the kitten wasn't hopeless. Breathing a thin sigh of relief, the medicine cat waited patiently for the she-kit to drink her fill, before the kitten sat back up and smiled at the healer. She was thankful for the water, admitting it was good--which wasn't a lie, Ane had been fairly happy with how the water in the cave tasted--and commenting on the taste. The healer shook her head at the thought of kitten puke, a twitch of pity for the unlucky cat to clean up the mess in camp, before finally offering just the glimpse of a smile. Nothing too excited though, as the moment such a smile appeared, it had vanished. Turning her head away, Ane gave a stiff nod. "I hope so." she grumbled, trotting off at a normal pace to the herb storage, which was a crevice in the back of the den. Just fitting through with her small body, the medicine cat easily remembered where the juniper berries were and delicately took a few in her jaws, backing out of the storage and back to Fernkit's side. Slowly, she set the berries at the she-kit's paws, and waited for a moment before explaining. "If you do end up wasting the herbs, just come back here. Don't be afraid to ask for more--it's not like anyone else in camp suffers bellyache." Anemonemist muttered, gesturing to the purple-blue berries for her to eat them.
