I stretched before exiting the warriors' den into the much milder weather of the approaching newleaf. Piles of snow still lay on the ground, but the wind was no longer as harsh, the air no longer frosty and nipping at one's ears and nose. Blinking a few times, I walked out to near the camp entrance and started to lick down my pelt. I would go out and hunt for a bit: it was warmer than usual, and a hunt might be more forgiving. However, I paused a second to look around for anyone coming this way: a companion would be nice.

And she was coming along. Crevicelight washed herself clean spotting a new target. Oh goody! Someone that she did not talk to before! Or maybe they did, but that did not matter because she was now a warrior! "Hi there!" she called out, batting the behinds of her ear. The Turkish Angora hopped over to the stranger and then stopped. Wow, a big cat. Bigger than her, but it was okay. She still had so much to learn. "What'cha up to today? We should go patrol or something. Or play with the kits. Or roll around. Or hunt. Or whatever!"

Noticing a small tabby making her way toward me, I dipped my head, about to greet her. However, I started at her eccentric greeting. Her words rolled off her tongue almost quicker than I could respond to. However, when she had finished speaking, I spoke to her, having figured out what she was saying. "Hunting sounds nice. I was about to head out myself." I said. "Why don't we head out together?" I suggested.
[sorry for the late post, my computer's security is freaking out]

"May I join you both?" She asked curiously as she approached them happily. Oh hey, it's Dapplecloud!

So he suggested huntig. Something that Crevicelight was somewhat good in, somewhat not. She was a lot better at patrolling in general because she sometimes lacked the focus to concentrate and select for prey, often giving herself away, but still nodded in agreement. "Sounds good!" she purred before another warrior came over; one older too. Oh goody, she would still be the youngest of the group, meaning more opportunity to learn! The Turkish Angora give a bright smile and nodded once more. "We're just about to head off on a hunt."

I was happy to see another friendly face approach: this time, it was someone I knew: Windswirl. "Nice to see you out and about, Windswirl." I said, dipping my head in polite greeting to the older warrior. "So, we're all agreeing on a hunting trip?" I prompted the small group as a whole.
[sorry for the lazy post]

Windswirl. Nice name. Crevicelight put that name into her memory, knowing that it would probably be of an importance. They were going hunting together after all! "Great! I'm ready to start if you two are."

"Seems like we're all in, then." I said, promptly turning around and heading for the entrance to the rest of RockClan's territory. It was difficult navigating the rocky terrain of the cliff in winter, but the snow was mostly melted now. Once out in the territory, I immediately began to wander, opening my jaws and scenting the air for the musky scent of a mouse or the less sharp scent of a bird.

She followed behind Dapplecloud and Crevicelight.. Last time she did this was recently but with a different assignment and that was along side Sprucelaw. This is where she would separate. Going in a different direction, she began going near the trees, there was bound to be some bird or mouse there. Nothing yet.
