Alone Time

[Robinstar]

(Duskrise )

Robinstar sat on Highstone, watching over the Clan that he led. No one seemed to notice, which he didn't mind at all. In fact, he enjoyed being alone. After a moment, though, he stood and leapt down the Rock and padded towards the shade at the side of camp.

[Duskrise]

Duskrise had been spending some time alone in a shady part of camp.

Normally, he was trying to socialize with others. Despite his rather sunny attitude, he had few friends. His only friends within Iceclan were the medicine cats more or less. They were constantly busy with managing their herb stores and healing the clan. Duskrise could never get in the way of that! He knew the importance of ones duty. Though, for now he didn't have anything to do.

He sighed. He returned his attention to his surroundings, and noticed that he was being joined in the shade by the leader, Robinstar. Huh. It was a little fuzzy, but he remembered meeting the leader a long time ago.

[Robinstar]

It took the leader's eyes a minute to adjust before he realized that there was another feline there in the shade. By then, however, he was already seated. "Hello," he said in a smooth voice. He didn't say anything else. However, after a moment he realized that the tom's face was not a new one. Robinstar racked his brain for the cat's name. Duskrise, wasn't it?

[Duskrise]

Duskrise offered up a gentle smile.

"Hi." He replied. "Seems we both found a nice, quite little section of the camp." His smile did not falter in front of the leader of Iceclan. He never felt particularly intimidated by anyone. Perhaps it was a blessing, perhaps it was foolishness. Duskrise accepted it as something that would allow him to talk to anyone. 

[Robinstar]

"Seems we did," he agreed, falling silent after a moment. He watched the clan from their spot before deciding he should say something. "Duskrise, yeah?" He asked.

[Duskrise]

Duskrise offered up a small smile.

His small smiles often said a lot more than his wider smiles. They held more warmth. "Yes. That's me." He replied softly. "And you're Robinstar." 

[Robinstar]

Robinstar nodded, pleased that he had at least remembered the warrior's name. It was difficult, with all the ceremonies and various cats he met, to remember one name, but he managed. "Yes, I am. Though last time we met I believe I was Ribinfrost." In a way, the leader missed his old name. And his even older name, Robbie. They both held memories and parts of his past, both good and bad, and he was slightly sad to move on to a new one.

[Duskrise]

Duskrise nodded.

"Mmhm... And now you're leader instead of deputy." He commented. "How's that been treating you, thus far?" He inquired. He was interested. He wondered how hard it was. He did wonder, after all. It can't be easy managing a large group of cats. Though, from what he could recall of the tom... He seemed like the type who'd be able to deal properly. Calmer. It was a good trait to have.

[Robinstar]

"And you're a warrior instead of an apprentice." Time moved fast, almost too fast for the striped leader. It grew stressful, sometimes. Time was limited, and he was getting older. But there was so much to get done. "Well. It's not much different from before." It was easier, in fact. He had replaced Wildstar, who hadn't done anything before. And now he had a deputy to help him out. "And you?"

[Duskrise]

It was comforting for Duskrise to hear.

Thankfully, it would not appear to be a bad thing for Robinstar's transition to leader. He hummed briefly, thinking on how to answer the leader of Iceclan. "Well... As you have said, I'm a warrior now. I have two apprentices now." He wasn't sure if Robinstar remembered that. After all, Sunfish did ceremonies as well, along with the slew of cats all requiring ceremonies. "I've met both the medicine cats." He added, for the fact that it was a piece of information.
