|| Duskrise ||
Wolfpaw stretched and stood up. He'd just awoken from a nap. He was a little surprised that no one had woken up- he was in the middle of the camp. 'I'm sure I looked like a fool,' he thought, quickly licking his fur, 'I should leave before any warrior comes and confronts me.' Once he looked halfway decent, the tom started heading to the apprentices' den. Maybe he could sleep more there.
On his way back, the apprentice accidentally tripped over an uprooted tree root. This made him stumble, and unfortunately for him he stumbled right into a warrior. "Oh! I'm very sorry." He dipped his head apologetically. The sooner he apologized, the sooner he could get to his destination.

Duskrise had woken up earlier, being an early bird.
Possibly an insanely early bird, but Duskrise wasn't sure. Eh, oh well. He'd noticed an apprentice sleeping in the middle of camp when he'd woken up. He'd shrugged it off as a normal occurrence. He'd gone to eat as per usual. He supposed he should go and see if Silentpaw for whatever reason was awake. If not, he could simply lurk outside the apprentice's den. He liked Silentpaw. She seemed nice. He was aware of her status as a mute, but had never mentioned it in training.
Though, someone bumped into him on his way to the apprentice's den. He looked over to see that apprentice who'd been previously sleeping in the middle of camp. The apprentice was quick to dip his head and issue an apology. Duskrise offered up a gentle smile. "Ah, no worries!" He reassured the young tom.

Wolfpaw heaved a sigh of relief when he didn't get a snappy reply. He looked up at the warrior, ears hot with embarrassment. "I won't do it again." Dipping his head one more time, he stood up straight and continued his journey to the apprentices' den. He looked back at Duskrise. Where was the warrior headed? He seemed to be going the same direction. Turning around, his curiousity got the best of him and he had to ask. "Hey, were you on your way to the apprentice den? Just asking because I was heading there too. Are you someone's mentor?" He asked casually, ears perking up in interest. Duskrise seemed like a friendly warrior, and he wanted to know which cat was lucky enough to have him for a teacher. Not that he would know the tom's apprentice. Wolfpaw hardly knew anyone his own age. Blinking the sleepiness from his eyes, he waited for a response.

Duskrise only continued to smile, seeing the young apprentice redden with embarrassment.
He noticed that the young tom seemed to believe he did something wrong. He tilted his head to the side. "Ah! It's not a problem! You really didn't do anything wrong." He meowed, trying not to rush through his words. Then the apprentice began to return his journey and Duskrise subtly let out a small sigh of relief. Then suddenly the apprentice turned back around.
Duskrise blinked. "Oh? Yes. I'm mentoring a young she-cat named Silentpaw right now." He meowed in reply, smiling once more seeing the silvery tom in a better mood. "Who is your mentor?" He inquired, truly curious.
