Swirlpaw waved her tail goodbye to her mentor once more before disappearing across the camp. She'd just been told she'd passed her asessment, despite that fact she couldn't even see where she was going. She had no idea how she'd managed to even nearly pass, let alone do so. However, she was glad she had, and she'd promised Windswirl that she'd train any apprentice she recieves just as well as she had to Swirlpaw, and certainly hoped she'd be able to start with her little friend Risingkit. The young tabby tom was inquisitive and intelligent, and also quick and eager to learn, as well as being happy to help out however he can. These she knew were good skills for an apprentice to have. Though teaching him would be hard, as she'd learnt in a way that was possible without eyesight, however she'd have to teach him differently, because he'd be used to using his eyes. Though she'd teach all her apprentice's to fight with their eyes closed as well, and navigate without sight as she'd had to do, as it must be a good skill and would confuse an enemy.
She was suddenly drawn back to attention as she noticed her paws had led her toward the nursery as she'd thought of her young friend. She smiled at this, remembering the day he'd willingly helped her with making the nests. Enthusiastically even. This brought a purr to the surface, and she released in with a gentle smile before flickering her ears and trotting in the direction of her leader's den. She wasn't sure when Cloverstar was expecting her here, though she assumed it was about now, as it seemed to be a good time. Sitting down outside the entrance, she pricked her ears and mewed a gentle greeting, not wanting to awaken her if she was asleep. Not even sure if she was in there as it was.
(sorry, I decided to make a thread. I had the muse and was already logged in having posted in the ceremony thread, so here ya go. Again, sorry if you wanted to make it <3)
