Ripplefur

The sun was shining and the snow was starting to melt away. There were puddles everywhere and the wind blew a bit. Sparrowkit had been laying down enjoying the warmth of Greenleaf. Her Amber eyes locked a dark brown tabby. "Daddy" the kitten squeaked.

Ripplefur had just come back from a night patrol. He held a two mice in his jaws. This greenleaf weather was bringing back all of the prey, it was also bringing his kits into the world. He was glad that they were being born now instead of in leafbare. Perhaps he should take one of the mice to Nightsong. He dropped one into the pile and turned around just in time to hear his little daughter, Sparrowkit, call for him. He trotted over and placed the mouse on the ground. Hey there little one. He purred while nuzzling her on the head. His first born. He was so proud already.

The small kitten purred a bit. "What's it like to be a warrior. Is it fun?" Sparrowkit asked smiling. The kitten was very happy to spend time with family.

[Ripplefur]

Ripplefur laughed. Being a warrior? Itʻs extreamly stressful. Especially when us warriors have little kits running around our paws. He laughed and nudged the kit with his paw. How are you doing in the nursery with your mother?

[Sparrowpaw]

Sparrowkit smiled. "Were doing great. It's not too crowded in the nest because I only have one sibling" she meowed curling her tail

Well you are the eldest. Itʻs your job to watch him. He said with a smile. But donʻt worry. Mommy is going to give you more brothers and sisters. Youʻll have more kits to play with soon. For now you can hang out with me.

Sparrowkit smiled. "Ok" the kitten purred. "Do you want to do something?" Sparrowkit asked

Ripplefur looked down at Sparrowkit. Well what would you like to do? We can play a game or I could teach you some hunting or fighting techniques. Just donʻt tell your mother. He laughed, knowing that Night would kill him if she found out that he was teaching the kits how to fight.

Sparrowkit began to feel excited. "Can you please teach me a few battle moves. I promise that I won't tell Mom" the kitten asked

He gave a wide grin. Sparrow was going to be a fighter. He liked it. Why of course. Maybe well start with some really basic moves. Try attacking me. I can handle it.

[Sparrowpaw]

Sparrowkit crouched her tail swaying from side to side. The small kitten ran around her father and then attempted to tackle him with sheltered claws.

Ripplefur closed his eyes and scented the air for his daughter. He heard her run around him a few times and waited for her attack. He soon felt a light thud on his back. He fell to the side and played as if she had won. Oh great Sparrowkit! You have beaten me! What can I do now?

Sparrowkit smirked. "You shall go back to your own clan Fireclanner" she mewed. The kitten was having fun
