The sun rose as a small kitten blinked her green eyes open. The young she-kit had felt lonely for the last couple of days. brookkit wanted to go explore but she was not allowed to take a step out of the nursery. She knew that somewhere a queen was watching her. Brookkit's eyes fixed on a kitten older then she was. Maybe that kit could do something with me. She thought. "Hello" she greeted. "I'm Brookkit, you?"

Maplekit greeted a kit she had never seen before with a small smile, though her eyes remained on the dust. "I'm M-Maplekit," she blundered out, trying to meet the other kit's gaze. She was slowly getting over her shyness, trying to get over her shyness. |

brookkit smiled a bit before speaking again. "Nice to meet you maplekit" she murmured. After thinking about what to say next brookkit meowed. "So what do you like to do?"

Mapple kit sat straighter up so she seemed a bit more confident. She wasn't sure exactly what she liked to do, so she just blurted something out. "I like to help...things..." she mewed awkwardly, hoping the other kit wouldn't look at her strangely. |

brookkit was kinda confused. She likes to help.. Things? "That's nice" she mewed not wanting to annoy the older kitten by asking what do you help.

Maplekit smiled and played with the dust beneath her paw. It took a moment to realize that the other kit had said thats nice. Maplekit looked up a Brookkit quickly, a new interest gleaming in her eyes. "You really think so?" she asked, smiling even wider. She couldn't believe someone else actually understood what she was trying to do. |

brookkit nodded and then smiled at the older kitten. "Helping others is a really kind thing to do. You should be proud of yourself for helping others" she meowed

Maplekit blushed and looked down at her paws, a small smile visible on her muzzle. She looked up at Brookkit, wondering if she should ask the question swirling in her thoughts. "Do you want to help me?" Instantly, she looked a bit embarrassed and tucked her tail around her body, looking away. |
