Patch was being weird today, wandering off to the farm to see if any mice were around. She knew cats lived there, she just didn't care. But what shocked her when she reached the plains was the scent she shouldn't know. Iceclan! Oh no oh no oh no.. Patch thought rapidly. There was NO way a clan would be here, no way!
Patch spotted another cat in the distance, and thinking quickly, she hid behind a bush. Hoping to not let herself be seen by a clan cat or one of those Rover cats. Noooooo...

Phantom padded curiously around the barn, trying to get a feel for the new area. He had just joined The Rovers, thinking that the group could provide him with some sort of support. He knew that he didn't have much to offer, being rather meek and disabled, but liked the thought of being able to contribute to someone rather than roam about on his own.
I haven't been this full in moons, he thought with a soft smile, relishing in the full-bellied warmth that had enveloped his tiny frame. One of his backlegs had been badly injured in a house-fire, leaving the limb in an unhealable limp. Needless to say, the injury had put a damper on his hunting skills.
A movement in the corner of his eye caught the albino's attention. Curious, he padded closer to the direction of the movement, being led to a nearby bush. "Hello?" he mewed inquisitive, unable to see somewhat and too unfamiliar with the surrounding scents to be able to tell if one was out of place, "is someone there?"

Patch sniffed, thank Darkpool, it was only a Rover. A rather weak one too, if Patch could put in her two cents. If this kid was going to fight, it would be easy. So she crept out of the bushes, whiskers twitching with interest. "My, my. The rumors were true, group living at the barn?" She asked.

Phantom took a step back, slightly surprised at the sudden appearance of the she-cat, before returning to his previous content state and offering a welcoming smile. "Ah, I'm assuming you're referring to the Rover's, right?" the albino mewed, tipping his small head questioningly to the side. Yet, despite his fairly calm demeanor a part of him was searching the stranger for any sign of aggression, his claws ready to unsheathe the second she showed signs of hostility. He wasn't too keen on fighting, but it was something that he had learned to resort to if need be. And the young tom had seen his fair share of fights, making his a dangerous opponent despite his petite size.
"Are you looking to join, or are you just a visitor?" the tom's pinkish-red eyes peered innocently at the stranger, wondering what her answer would be. "Oh, and I'm Phantom by the way."

Patch watched the albino tom, green eyes blazing. She nodded slowly and looked around, "No thanks on joining, I already have my own group." She hissed, glancing over her shoulder. "Are there more of you around here?" Patch asked, glancing back at him.

"Oh, which one?" the tom tipped his head to the side as he asked the question. Probably DeathClan... he thought, looking the she-cat over once more. She didn't look like a clan-cat, and he couldn't think of any other groups in the area--unless there was a new one being formed. Which was entirely possible.
"Possibly," Phantom mewed with a shrug, "Rovers are free to roam, so it's likely that there are at least a few others wandering around. Why?" Even if he had been completely sure no one else was around, a gut feeling told him not to trust this she-cat with that information. After all, if she is a DeathClanner... the albino held back a mental shudder. He didn't have a thing against all DeathClan cats, but his previous experience with the clan's inhabitants had made him a bit wary.
