Ripples (P)

[Rivershade]

Rivershade padded around the Iceclan border that they happened to share with the all so famous RockClan. She had a lot on her mind and well walks always seemed to be her escape. She had let her paws take her where ever and by the time she had focused back into reality, here she was at the Rock and Ice clan boarder. She looked confused for a moment, then sat down decided it really didn't matter.  Then suddenly it did as the scent of rock clan seemed to grow stronger. She cast a sharp blue gaze to her surroundings, nothing. Then she spotted the other feline, a brown tom joined her. She call out a small "Hello"

Ripplefur had nothing to do these days. His mate was in the nursery tending to their kits, and really he had no other friends. He had no apprentice. He had nothing really. The dark brown tabby tom found himself hunting a lot now a days. He had nothing else to do anyway. 

He had caught the scent of a mouse and followed it through the rocks. Closer and closer he got to the Iceclan border when finally he realized the mouse had already gone over and he had no chance at catching it. He finally sighed in defeat and sat down, giving his chest fur a few licks. 

His ears flicked at the sound of another cat. The scent of Iceclan strong. His amber gaze looked up to find a she cat not far from him on the Iceclan side of the border. Why hello there maʻam. He said with a flick of his tail as he dipped his head and continued to lick his chest fur.

She smiled as he not only called her Mam, not many showed such respect or care. and he had missed a hunt she noticed he was tracking something as he enetered her sight. She flicked her tail in yet another greetings and gave a small grin it was the best she could muster in her current pained state "I'm RiverShade, what is it that they call you?" she relised intros were probly the best way to meet someone righ? tilted her head she added "Is all well, In RockClan?" she didn't recodnis the male and from what he had show he wasn't the brutish type.

He was stuck in this situation. He had better places to be, such as with his kits and his mate, but there was no way to get out of this. Not that he didnʻt want to talk to the newly named Rivershade. Ripplefur. He grunted a little bluntly. 

Ahh yes. New litters of kits and prey is plentiful. I hope all is well in Iceclan.

She noted his not so friendly domninor, she had been wrond. He was like all other toms wasn't he, she though dully. Should couldn't help but smile even if he had dampered her slight happyness. Kits! cute. "Congrats, how many?" kittens were a great subject for River, and the clans well being was good too. She only nodded, as if Iceclan was well. She wanted to cry just hearing the word 'well' and 'iceclan' thing were a mess. She only hopped her expression didn't show that. Giving a small lie she agreed "Yup, all is well"

He didnʻt want to be mean. He didnʻt mean to be rude or whatever. Well so far I have four, but their still coming. He said with a slight laugh. He saw her reaction to his question on Iceclan, but he didnʻt want to be nosey. He preferred to keep his nose out of other cats business and hoped they would do the same. Well thatʻs good to hear.

(with the whole clan being moved thing going on, She shouldn't be here but since our thread it already underway I see no reason for it to stop lol)

She gave a small Purr that was good news, she nodded falsely "That it is" she almost tried to make her self believe in her small ill willed lie.. oh well, we all have our times. She tilted her head not really knowing this tom she made it her objective to get to know most of her acquaintances. "So, Ripplefur ." pausing for an intake of air she finished, "Tell me of your self" she gave a good natured laugh "Not in a creepy kind of way, I just like to know the basics" with a small grin she hoped he wouldn't decline but you never know.

The tom had started to feel bad about his earlier attitude towards the Iceclan she cat. Perhaps there was still time to make up for it. She didnʻt seem to care. Though she seemed to kind of on edge about something. He wasnʻt going to push but maybe being nicer could get her to calm down. He gave a small sigh and moved a little closer to the border. The Iceclan stench filled his nose and he tried hard to not scrunch his muzzle up disgust. 

No, Iʻm sure it wasnʻt meant to be weird. He said with a little laugh. Ripple then raised his head in thought. What was worth telling this she cat? He didnʻt have much to tell. She already knew about his kits, his mate, he had nothing else really. Oh uh... About me... Well... Iʻm actually not that interesting. Iʻm just your average warrior, just without friends and really only his family to rely on now. Ripple stuttered with slight nervousness edging out of his voice. And you?

She gave a small smile she wasn't all that awkward around males so this was a little strange for her maybe it was just speaking to another clanner. She shrugged it off. He moved closer as if to make amends she held in a laugh as he strained from wrickling his nose agasit her clans scent she couldn't blame him she wished to do the same around his clans odor. She tilted her head and gave a small laugh, as he started off by saying he wasn't all that interesting. "Well on the contrare RippleFur, you don't strike me as all that boring" smileing she listend to the rest of his tale, and she nodded not wanting to pry. "Well, about my self. Im just like any other Ice Clan cat I've been told We smell funny so Ive got that as strike one." she thought for a moment before continuing. "Really im like anyother she-cat I tend to talk ears off others, and enjoy conversations such as these" she gave a slight grin. "That's about all there is too this feline"
