Phantom had heard from the other members of his group, The Rovers, that some of the clan-cats had ventured out of their territory and into the plains. The albino hadn't believed it at first, after all he had never heard of large quantities of clan-cats leaving their homes before; sure, sometimes one or two would cross their borders, but they always went back. Yet, more and more cats kept insisting that there really were clan-cats camping out nearby. Curiosity getting the better of him, Phantom set out to get a peek at the newcomers, and maybe talk to them as well!
After all, whose to say they aren't friendly? the tom thought with a smile, wondering what clan-cats were like. He had never actually met one before, although he had assumed they were nicer than DeathClan cats. And kittypet's, for that matter, the albino though, subconsciously flicking his clawed ear, which had been attacked by a kittypet during a fight he was in. It was nowhere near as bad as the burn-marks that would forever scar his backleg, but it still hurt to think about it.
The sound, and scent, of another cat nearby made Phantom stop in his tracks and look around. "Hello?" the runt mewed, his pinkish-red eyes sweeping the nearby area. It was pretty open, but there was still a fair amount of dried brush and a few stray trees, "is anyone around?"

Crevicefrost did not really enjoy living on the plains. It was so open and uncomfortable. The young warrior missed the mountains. Crevicefrost scanned her surroundings to see if anyone was near. She did not catch much prey because the young she-cat had no idea how to hunt in the plains. Crevicefrost scented something or someone. It was an albino Tom-cat. The she-cat had caught a few strange scents in the last few days. "Who are you!" She hissed at the Tom

Phantom jumped when a she-cat spoke to him. He looked at her with wary wide-eyes for a few seconds, mouth slightly agape, before regaining his composure and offering a bright, innocent smile. "I'm Phantom," he introduced, wondering if he should add more onto his introduction. He decided not to, too preoccupied with observing the new arrival. She doesn't smell like a DeathClanner, but she indefinably has other cat-scents on her... and I haven't seen her with any of the other Rovers.... the albino jumped to the conclusion that she must be from one of the clans. "Are you a clan-cat? I had heard there were come around here," he asked, in an almost awe-filled manner, as he looked her over curiously.

Crevicefrost nodded . "Yes I am I a clan cat" the mackerel brown tabby meowed. Crevicefrost stared at the tom. "Are you thinking of following me and attacking my clan. Where do you come from. Are you here alone? There were no other scents around.

[[ Mind if Wisty over here strolls in? ]]
"Now, now, kitty, there's no need to be so hostile," Wisteria purred from a little while away, having been woken from his nap by the clanner's hissing. He nodded respectfully towards Phantom- he understood they were both part of the Rovers, and though Wisty was new to the group thing, he knew that they were supposed to look out for one another if able. Considering it would be two against one, should the clanner start a fight, he wasn't worried. "Besides- your clanmates are making quite a racket...I don't need to follow you to find them. The farm was my home, first, anyway. Don't start thinking you own the place just because I happen to let you stay, kitty."
"There's enough prey to go around, we have no reason to pick a fight," Wisty mentioned, shrugging off the thought. "That is, unless you decide to start one." Something dangerous sparkled in his eyes for a second, a warning hidden in his words, but not a moment later he was back to his carefree self. "Getting acquainted with the mountain-huggers, are you?" he nodded to the fellow Rover. "I'm Wisteria- or Wisty. I'm afraid we haven't met?"

go ahead! the more the merrier :3 Phantom's eyes widened at the she-cat's accusations. "N-No, of course not," he mewed softly, shrinking away from her stare a bit. He blinked apologetically at the IceClanner, hoping he hadn't acted in a way that made her think that he was the type of cat that would preform the acts she had suggested. He jumped a bit at Wisteria's voice, although he relaxed once he realized that the newcomer was from his group, The Rovers. He smiled shyly at the other tom, glad he would have support from his group-mate. The albino took the backseat for most of Wisteria's speaking, nodding in agreement at the appropriate times but not speaking out due to the fact that he did not want to cut-off the other tom. He blinked a bit when he was addressed, but smiled and replied once he realized Wisteria was indeed talking to him. "I thought it'd be nice to greet our new neighbors," the small tom mewed, flicking his gaze uneasily to Crevicefrost for a moment before quickly looking back to Wisteria, "and, no, I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before. I'm Phantom," he fluttered his ears happily, the presence of a welcoming cat easing the little tom's mind.

Crevicefrost glared at them. "IceClan will only fight you guys if you start doing something bad." She hissed. "Plus don't ever call me kitty"

"It's good to know that proper etiquette hasn't died," Wisteria purred, smiling at Phantom. It was cute, honestly, that Phantom was being so polite. "It's only a shame that has been lost on these clanners. I am glad to meet your acquaintance, Phantom. I trust we will get along fine." He nodded once more to show the honesty behind his words- sometimes it could be hard to tell if he was lying or now.
Wisty sighed dramatically, rolling his eyes at the warrior's unnecessary harshness. "Why are you all so against the nicknames?" Wisty wondered aloud. "And so quick to judge- I'd be much less inclined to start something if you were a little more polite, you know."
