Moonpaw hated this. She hated living in this closed barn. She wanted to jump and run freely, but there are way too many cats to do so. And Moonpaw didn't want to be around the cats around here.
She coughed wildly as she gazed down from the shaft she was lying on to see another cat. She lied her head down and moaned, "What do you want?" Moonpaw hissed loudly at the cat.

[[ If I'm incorrect in assuming this is open to loners as well, feel free to let me know and I'll delete my post asap! ]]
"No need to be so hostile, little kitty," Wisty smirked as he looked up at the clanner. "Was only looking for company." So far, nobody had reacted badly to his presence there, other than the occasional glare or hiss in his direction. Wisteria was counting on the Clan cats living there to be mindful of the fact that he had claimed their current residence before they had- That was the only reason he seemed so at ease prowling among them.
He flicked his tail before leaping up onto the shaft that the stranger was lying on, sauntering up to her carelessly, teasing smirk still on his lips. "It's my home, too- you wouldn't want to be rude to your host, would you?" The pale tom sat about a tail length away from the stranger, still completely at ease. "I take it you miss your real home, though, don't 'ya? Maybe I could do something to make it more comfortable?"

(Nah, it's fine!)
Moonpaw hissed again at the Rover, glaring as he talked and jumped up beside her. "Please, if I was really rude, I'd shove you off here." She replied casually, rolling her eyes. She sat herself up and gazed at the tom, eyes narrowed. "Never call me little kitty." She meowed.
"And I don't want anything, all I want is a IceClan camp to be brought back from the dead."

"Aw, why so cold, Princess?" Wisty pouted. "You might hurt somebody with that prickly personality of yours- I was only trying to help." The pale tom shrugged innocently.
"What's so great about livin' in the cold mountains, anyway?" he asked, a hint of genuine curiosity accompanying the teasing tone of his voice. "I mean- it sounds dangerous. Avalanches, freezing cold, harder to find prey...why are so many cats living up there instead of...well, here. It's warmer, safer, and mice are easy to catch." In all honesty, he did want to know the answer. There must have been something important about the place, as awful as it sounded, if all these cats had stayed there for who-knew how long. Besides- irritating Moonpaw was amusing on its own.
"Oh- I forgot to introduce myself, how inconsiderate of me," Wisteria suddenly remembered, and he bowed, as much as a cat could, in a rather showy manner. "Wisteria, handsome tramp and proud member of the Rovers, at your service. Friends call me Wisty- are we friends?"

"For starters, never call me princess, either. And, I love the mountains because of the view and the clan, for Iceclan have enough courage and bravery to stay there." Moonpaw hissed at the tom. "And in my opinion, living there is more comfortable than here. There's more challenges to make a cat stronger." She continued. Even through Moonpaw was grumpy, she had lots of loyalty towards her clan, and nothing else.
Moonpaw cringed at the toms rather vain and polite introduction, but fluffed up her fur and nodded. "Moonpaw, proud apprentice of Iceclan, and I guess we are kinda friends, I dont know." She meowed, shifting her gaze back and forth.
(Sorry for being late!)

"I can't say I've been to the mountains to see the view for myself," Wisty shrugged. "It must be worth it if so many are willing to stay there, despite the hardships. We have groups here, too- not as large as your clan, but I imagine the effect is about the same."
"Well, I suppose I'll have to charm you until you're certain of our friendship," Wisty smirked. "You wouldn't mind if I asked more about your clan, would you? I've only heard rumors and I am rather curious, if I'm being honest."

Moonpaw huffed and sighed, "Fine.! I guess your not evil enough to attack us, so... Yeah, the view is beautiful in the mountains." She explained, her voice losing edge. She coughed wildly and sat up, "Question away."

"You thought I was evil?" he echoed. "Well, ouch. Seems a little harsh. I hope I don't come off that way." He couldn't help but appear a touch concerned at the apprentice's bout of coughing. He didn't know much, but these clanners must have been through a lot- most were injured, sick, or both, from what he could tell, and they had been forced from their home. It didn't seem to bode all too well for them- even Wisteria felt a little bad for them.
"You might want to get yourself looked at by your healer," he warned, yet soon took up his normal act. "But enough about that- how do the clans work? I know there are more than one of them in the forest and mountain area. Do you fight over territory? Are there proper borders or do you go where you please. You all seemed to think you owned this place, just because you waltzed in. Do your territories work the same?"

Moonpaw looked slightly crestfallen as Wisteria spoke, feeling bad at her wording. "No, your not evil, your group is just fine. And I'm OK, other cats need help more than me." She replied, coughing a bit. She felt bad for accidentally calling the Rovers evil, even if they weren't of Iceclan, the group gave them shelter.
At the question, she shook her head calmly and meowed. "Well, the clans have specific borders, and the occasional border fight. Just because we're wild doesn't mean that we're savages. But... I'm not the one in charge, and I just followed my clan here, so sorry about the whole barn issue." She then curled her tail around her paws.

In all honesty, Wisteria could see why Moonpaw might have seen him as 'evil'. They had barged in, claiming the barn was theirs, even though IceClan was clearly desperate, and they hadn't occupied it at the immediate time. The problem was that while it could seem morally...wrong, the barn was the closest thing to a home that Wisty had ever had. If he had to fight just to keep on living there, he would.
"Hmm...so there's a system in place, right?" he continued, pretending to ignore Moonpaw's last comment. He'd rather steer clear of topics that hit too close to home (literally) for him. "You clan cats are smarter than you look. But even with that system in place...do you ever just want to wander around? Borders seem like limits- don't you wish you could go wherever you please, do whatever you want, without anyone to tell you otherwise? I guess I just don't see an appeal to all those limitations and regulations."
