((Panda ))
Jaypaw padded in circles around the clearing of TreeClan, lost in thought. He shook his head once in a while, and a deep crease appeared between his eyebrows. Something was troubling him, and he tried to not let it show, but the anxiety overtook him. "Stupid little bird," he muttered, half talking about himself and a sparrow that had scared away his mouse earlier when hunting. He sat down, glaring a hole into the dirt with his eyes. He felt them, burning into the core of the earth, how hot they felt. He had embarrassed himself in front of Songpaw, and he was mad about it. A twig snapped in the distance, and Jaypaw snapped his head to glare at it. As he pierced the air with his eyes, scanning the clearing, no one could be found. He looked back down and kicked a rock in front of him, snorting. Then, his front legs gave out and he plopped onto the ground, sighing, his tail lashing. He opened his eyes slowly, and the anger had been removed, All that was left was a sad, pitiful look. He closed his eyes once more. If Songpaw saw me like this, she'd think I was no better than a kittypet. Jaypaw slowly pushed himself back up onto his haunches, careful not to squash anything underneath him. He looked up into the sky, and noticed the clouds were slowly turning pink. Stars were playing peek-a-boo in the purple hue, and Jaypaw smiled. Sunset had come. The dark consumed the camp like a wolf's jaws, and Jaypaw became determined. Determined to prove himself to his best friend.

(sort of long, whoops. oh yeah and i tend to ramble a lot when writing because i dont know how to cram all of my spilling emotions and craving for writing in smaller paragraphs...)
Panda had just received her ceremony, but she felt older than an apprentice. Not by much, but old enough to understand how most cats felt about kittypets. The way they described the spoiled, lazy cats though was definitely an unappealing thought and that thought in itself was still a gross understatement.
While in deep thought, Panda stopped in her tracks after noticing one of the clan cats. It was a bit late, relatively anyways, but it was only normal someone would be awake. It seemed all of the clan cats were unique in the our ways and fashions. It was kind of like a dance and comparing it to kittypets made her cringe. She had been a kittypet and if someone were to call her opinion biased... well, honestly, she would laugh. Panda rarely laughed, and if she did it was always for her sister, Cookie. She'd neglected her feelings entirely, only letting them truly show when she was around. She wasn't though.
After more internal rambling, she took a closer look at the cat. It was a tom, but his features and expression were a bit more difficult to make out, as the sun was setting. The sky was a river of colors; blue, pink, orange and purple. It was absolutely breathtaking and that was most definitely meant literally.
"Uh, hello?" she asked after silence ensued; persistent and unbearable. This was one of her first times meeting a clan cat. She'd had encounters, but... not this close, usually. It was kind of intimadating, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her. "I'm.. new, my name's Panda," she added breathlessly after forcing out the final word. Panda, not Pandapaw or anything that was considered a clan cat name. Even so, she felt pride fill her lungs as she spoke her name and changing it would be a mistake. She could accept her past life, even if others wouldn't.

Jaypaw's ears pricked as he heard the voice of another cat, maybe an apprentice like himself, since it didn't sound high like a kit's, or mature like a warrior's. He traced the voice to a cat not too far away. As she spoke, she said her name was Panda. Panda, that's not a clan cat name. Jaypaw suddenly sat up with interest, wondering if the cat had been a rouge or loner. He smiled, his turquoise eyes glowing through the darkness. "Hi," he replied, walking slowly up to the other cat, his lean, slinky body making him look like he was flowing like water, and his pelt was blending in with the color of the sky, a dark grey. "Are you a rouge?" Jaypaw's eyes lit up with interest as he looked at the other cat. He guessed she did resemble a panda, if he had ever seen a panda before.

"Uh, no..." she trailed off, shuffling her paws before finally raising her head again, away from the ground. "I'm what you clan cats would call a kittypet. I ran away from my owners with my sister, Cookie, because they were starving us. We were kittens. After that, we lived in that huge barn for a while, learning handy tricks to keep us alive," she mewed breathlessly, realizing a little too late how much she had rambled about her past and how much she had already revealed about herself.
"Mind if I ask your name?" the black and white she-cat asked curiously, her olive eyes wide with curiousity.

As soon as Jaypaw heard the word 'kittypet,' he couldn't help but step back, but as the other cat continued to tell its story, he noticed she wasn't much different from the clan cats. She could fend for herself, and probably disliked two-legs as much as anyone in TreeClan. He mewed slowly, I'm Jaypaw." As usual he chose a cocky grin to flash right after saying his name.
