Mosskit Mistkit found herself another spider to observe. This time, she was sitting and watching the spider scale the nursery walls. Her head was tilted to the side, as she gained a new perspective on the creature. Once more, she appeared to be completely oblivious to the world around her.

Mosskit was, by every definition, nosy. So when she spotted another she-cat looking at the nursery wall like a sad owl, she padded over. As she got closer she noticed the arachnid scaling the wall and frowned. She wasn't afraid of bugs, but she also did not like them. But that thing wasn't her focus. She tapped on Mistkit's back with one of her large brown paws and sat down behind her.
"Is the spider mesmerizing you or something? Should I call for Liongrowl?" She asked, half joking.

Mistkit didn't seem to move at all, aside from her eyes following the arachnid's movements.
"Hello." She meowed still, after feeling the tap from someone behind her. It was a small paw, so she figured it must be a kit. The squeaky voice helped too. "No." She responded, taking the other kit's statement literally. "Liongrowl's assistance is not required. I like watching the spiders."

Mosskit couldn't help but be a bit creeped out by this she-cat. She had never met someone so...zombie like. "Well, uh, do you like them so much that you can't face me? I'd love to put a face to the spider-watching girl." She said, not meaning to sound so rude. She would never understand some cats.

Mistkit finally turned to face Mosskit.
She blinked her vibrant green eyes. "I'm sorry." She meowed bluntly. "I enjoy watching the spiders enough that I focus on them. It slips my mind that in normal social interaction you are to face your conversational partner. I... Don't really understand, but I know." She explained,

Mosskit was happy to finally see the face of Mistkit. She had lovely green eyes. The facial expression the younger she-cat was making almost made her feel bad for saying anything. "It's alright. I get the same way about food...and butterflies. Do you like butterflies, or just spiders?" She asked, hoping they may have that in common.

Mistkit's eyes widened in interest.
"What's a butterfly?" She asked. She had never seen a butterfly before. What was it? She was curious.

Mosskit grinned, finally she had this cat locked in. "A butterfly is like a thin spider with really beautiful wings. Some are yellow, some are orange and black, some are blue. They fly around and rest on flowers and bushes." She explained, hoping she didn't sound like she was on catmint.

If it were possible, Mistkit's eyes widened even further.
"I would very much like to see one." Her green eyes shining with excitement, as her voice began to pick up a positive tone. Even her tail behind her began to wiggle. "They sound beautiful."
