Redpaw felt as though he'd wasted the day. He hadn't trained, and had more or less dozed the afternoon away. And now here he was, in his nest, gazing restlessly at the moonlit entrance as he internally raged at himself for having slept earlier in the day. He shifted around, facing the wall of the apprentices' den as he tried to find a more comfortable position. He heard some slight noise, a sigh or a groan, perhaps, and he grinned, happy that he was not alone in his sleepless misery. On a whim, without bothering to turn away from the wall, he called out in a voice barely above a whisper, "You really should get some sleep." He felt a playful smirk tugging his lips upward. The comment was sardonic, of course, seeing as he was also awake, but he would leave it up to the other cat to figure out whether or not he was being serious.

The young tom had, had a long day. However, he couldn't sleep... His mind was too active to actually allow him self to rest. Relentless thoughts made him a bit angry why, why stupid mind. He flicked his ears as a voice broke the steady sleeping silence. "no kidding," is all he offeres. He turned to search for the other awake feline, almost confused who else is in the same sorry on sleep state? He stood knowing he would be unable to sleep. He spotted the reddish hued feline, and spoke quietly "Unless you are planning on getting some shut eyes, want to keep me company?" he turns not really looking for a answer just leaving the invite.
