Autumndust
As curious as she was, Tinywhisker was just as lazy and preferred not to really get too involved into things. That was why she was currently lazing around the center of the clearing, enjoying the cool air and generally watching others. It was funny in a way, as every cat was confined to camp and how everyone was freaking out over the two-legs and dogs. Personally? She was dead numb to it. And that was why she didn't honestly care.
Was she that careless? A thoughtful frown crossed over her face, but as she saw a few kittens tussle with each other nearby, Tinywhisker felt a small, genuine smile cross over her face. She loved kits. She always did. Maybe sometime in the future she would have her own? Doubt flickered across her face, but it quickly dissipated as she contentedly rested her head against her paws. Her ears were pricked, bright green eyes pinned steadfastedly on the wrestling kits.

While Autumndust couldn't say she had been around for the announcement, she'd heard of the news one way or another, and it worried her, immensely. The thought of dogs and two-legs so close was unnerving, to say the least. Perhaps her mind was exaggerating just how close they were, but the fact that they were on TreeClan's territory was frightening enough. Luckily, watching kits play obliviously was one way to temporarily deter her from such thoughts. Though her worries still lingered at the back of her mind, she managed to keep a small smile on her face and remain positive on the outside.
It wasn't long before she noticed she wasn't the only one watching the kits, however. Not too far away a senior warrior seemed to be doing the same. Autumndust wondered if she was trying to distract herself from her worries too...in any case, it wouldn't hurt to talk, right? Autumndust got to her paws, and approached the older warrior, stopping when she was close enough to be heard. "...is this spot taken?" she asked, somewhat quietly, gesturing to the empty space next to Tinywhisker. |
