(Beechroot -- sorry, my muse is gone right now)
After getting back from playing with kits in the nursery, Panda went to look at the fresh-kill pile for something to eat when she stopped herself. She hadn't exactly done anything helpful today, and she didn't go hunting too often with clan members on patrols because she was almost certain they hated kittypets. Maybe her factless assumptions were wrong though; she wasn't actually sure if they were against outsiders.
Spotting her usual spot, a flat rock on the side of the camp surrounded by a couple of trees, she decided to go sit down for a bit. Getting used to the clan was, without doubt, a work in progress. Scanning the camp for any cats to interact with, she finally gave up as sleep took over. She'd been pretty sleep deprived lately.. maybe sunbathing or just relaxing would help her calm down a bit; gather her senses.

(no, this is perfect! no worries! thanks for making it btw!)
Beechroot decided he needed a break. His life wasn't exhausting in any way, but his tedious daily tasks were just boring. He decided he would sunbathe for a few minutes. The skinny warrior hadn't done that in ages. He stretched his body and let out a yawn, then bounded over to the popular spot. Beechroot found a cat already there and it took him a few moments to realize who she was.
He remembered now. The cat who kept her strange name instead of taking an apprentice's name. The warrior had never heard of such a thing. Beechroot wouldn't judge her though, she seemed nice enough. "Pardon me." He mewed before he walked near her and plopped down on another rock a few tail-lengths away.

(happy april fools >.> just realized there's starbucks everywhere in my post xD)
Hearing pawsteps approaching, her eyes finally flitted open several moments later after the cat mewed something; a tom it seemed. Her olive eyes shifted to his pelt, trying her best to remember his scent and ultimately failing miserably.
"Hello," she replied with a quiet mew before finally keeping her eyes open, blinking the drowsiness out of them. She mostly assumed the clan had heard the news about two siblings - sisters -- joining the clan. "Mind if I ask your name?"

(it's finally back!!!)
The golden tabby closed his eyes. "I'm Beechroot." He continued to talk with his eyes closed. "We've never met before, but I've seen you around." The warrior curled into a tight ball and tucked his muzzle under his tail. "You were the cat named by a two-leg right?" Beechroot didn't mean it in a rude way, but he was very blunt about the way he spoke.

(yayyy)
"Nice to meet you, Beechroot," she mewed, readjusting herself into a more comfortable position before hearing what the tom said. "Oh, yeah, that's me. I joined with my sister, Cookie." She wondered if kittypets, loners or rogues joined the clans very often. "Do you usually have outsiders join the clans to become warriors, or...?" Surely it had happened before, but it probably wasn't too often, right?

(I meant to post on this a long time ago so sorry!)
Cookie. Another weird name. Beechroot's ear twitched. Maybe his name was weird to her? He could understand that perspective. He was named after a tree and that was odd by itself. The warrior shrugged at her question. "Usually, kittypets or rogues drop their kits off here for a better life. You're kind of old to be adopted, so I guess your case is unusual." He shrugged. "But a warrior is a warrior, I suppose."

(np + sorry my response was late too)
"Oh, I see," she mewed, pawing quietly at the flat stone. Yeah, a warrior is a warrior. She kind of liked it, though; her name. She didn't really feel any less capable of her performance in the clans just because she was a kittypet, but she knew some cats thought otherwise. Regardless, she never minded it much. She wondered how they would act as kittypets, holding back a laugh thinking about it.
"Well, I definitely prefer this over being a kittypet; being a clan cat that is," she commented thoughtfully, trying to smile. "The food was a bit tough to adjust to, but it's much better than kibble." She used to be really bothered by the mess that prey made and the blood use to freak her out.

Beechroot had always wondered how kittypets hunted. Kibble? Is that a bird? Did the twolegs hunt for her? The warrior was genuinely interested. "So uh...kibble." Such a bizzare word. "What is that?" He flicked his tail. "Do the twolegs catch them? What are they like? I've never dared to get close." Beechroot wouldn't lie to himself, he had considered leaving his clan before. He felt useless half of the time, but he felt so connected to his clan and he would miss his friends and family.

(urgh late post again...)
Oh, right. She forgot to explain what kibble was. Panda's ears flicked forward and rather amused expression found its way onto her face, as well as some surprise. Do clan cats really not know?
"Kibble is food for kittypets. It's shaped like little circles or triangles and is really dry and tough to chew." She made a face. "It's not at all pleasant. I don't think they catch it..." she trailed off. "Cats in my neighborhood said other twolegs make it and then animal owners buy it." Her eyes blinked slowly. She'd always been scared to admit she felt out of place as a kittypet. She never regretted leaving for the clans.
"So, uh... what's CloudClan?" the black and white she-cat asked, feeling a bit silly asking the question. Was it another clan? She'd never heard of it before, only FireClan, TreeClan, IceClan and RockClan.
