Badgerpaw had slowly gotten used to being... Dead. But he hated that he had to watch his clan suffer without him, living in that stupid barn. His green eyes seemed transparent as he looked over his shoulder. Another spirit. Badgerpaw waved his tail in the air in greeting.

Spirits tended to stay among their own clan mates, but it wasn't as if they weren't allowed to. Freckledfox certainly wasn't intent to do so, considering FireClan's spirit world was incredibly dull. Had no one died there for the past twenty years? It certainly seemed that way, and at times the apprentice-aged tortoiseshell felt that way. So, she reached out to other clans for company in the land of the dead, as she was in need of a companion.
The she-cat padded through CloudClan's forest, everything blurry due to her bad vision. But as she neared Badgerpaw, she thought she saw something move and headed in that direction. As she came close enough to see clearly, Freckledfox realized that it was, indeed, another cat. "Hello."

Badgerpaw stared at the other spirit, he sniffed. Probably Fireclan, from what Azaleapetal taught him in his short apprenticeship. The cat looked young, no more than a recent warrior. "Hey." He replied, smiling gleefully. "Your a warrior, right? Why you here?" He added unexpectedly.

Freckledfox smiled at him. "Warrior? Technically no, ha! I'm supposed to be an apprentice, but upon arriving here they gave me a warrior name," the tomboy shrugged, her tail flicking back. "My name is Freckledfox, which I thought was pretty cruel, considering they named me after my killer." She laughed, but it died of shortly after. She wasnt entirely used to being dead. "What about you?"

"Huh, who killed you? A fox?" Badgerpaw meowed, only bits of amusement in his gaze. When asked how he died, he sighed and looked at his paws. "An avalanche gave me too much to handle." He replied, still trying to laugh. His thoughts drifted of to his best friend, Crevicefrost, before he listened for more.

"Mmhm. A fox," she responded with a sigh. "I was with Pepper—er, my friend, and I don't even remember what we were doing—playing? hunting? Something like that—and a fox appeared. Luckily he got away but…" she chuckled awkwardly, vividly remembering the day. Thankfully it hadn't been too painful, though it most certainly hasn't been pleasant. The memory reminded her that she needed to visit Pepperpaw, as he'd been her only friend.
"Oohh yeah, I heard about that. Or, well, saw it." She said, nodding gravely. "Were there other injuries as well?"
