A rainy day -- Open

[Thicketkit]

Thicketkit watched the drops of water drip from the sky outside the nursery. The young kitten was sitting beside the entrance his tail twitching. His ears pricked up at the noise. Thicketkit looked over his shoulder. "Umm whose there" The Tom did not like the sound of being watched

Mistkit wasn't watching the other kit.

Instead, she was watching the sky's tears alongside Thicketkit. She did not respond immediately to the tom's inquiry. "I am here. My name is Mistkit." She supplied without tearing her gaze from the rain.

[Thicketkit]

Thicketkit kept on watching the water dripping from the sky. His gaze fixed on the she-kit. "Nice to meet you Mistkit" the Tom-kit meowed. Thicketkit offered a small smile before speaking again. "My name is Thicketkit son of Dewmask and Paleheart" he murmured. "Do you like watching the rain. Do you think it's interesting?' Thicketkit asked waiting for an answer from the she-kit.

Mistkit gave no indication she was listening.

Aside from her voiced response, of course. She didn't see his smile, but she could hear his tone growing pleasant as he spoke. Thus far, she thought Thicketkit was nice. "I enjoy watching the rain. It is... Relaxing." She settled on. "Autumndust adopted me."

Thicketkit thought that the she-kit was pretty nice. He nodded at Mistkit's response. "The rain is interesting to watch." He murmured. "What do you like to do?" Thicketkit asked. Autumndust. I think she's the new queen. He thought. "Autumndust, I heard she's pretty nice." The pale brown tabby mewed.

Mistkit simply let out a light purr in response.

She tilted her head to the side, but still do not tear her gaze from the rain. "I enjoy watching nature." She stated. She slightly nodded. She did think Autumndust was... Nice. After all, Mistkit was not her biological daughter but has taken care of her.

[Swiftkit]

Swiftkit watched sadly as rain drooped down the side of the den then she slowly slinked over to mistkit "how do you like this its been so long since I've played out side"moped Swiftkit.

[Thicketkit]

Thicketkit nodded at MIstkit's response. "Yeah nature is fun to watch." The pale brown tabby Tom-kit turned to the other kitten. "Rain is intresting and a pretty sight." Thicketkit murmured. How could some cats not like watching nature? "You can play outside later" he told the younger kitten. "You should enjoy the rain while it lasts"

[Swiftkit]

"...awwwwwwwwww, fine I just wanted to play tag but I hate getting my nice gray fur wet because when it is wetits heavy and shaggy."complained Swiftkit

[Cricketpaw]

It's so cold!!

Brrrrrrr, Cricketkit was freezing her butt off! She hated any small draft of chilly wind, even if it wasn't Leaf-Bare frost. It was just... awful! How it sunk into her fur and bombarded her with attacks until she was a shivering mess!

And the rain made things cold! "Brrrrr, I hope the rain stops soon!" the little tortoiseshell squeaked, scurrying over to the entrance of the nursery beside the other three kits. They seemed to be enjoying the rain -- of course, Cricketkit thought it was rather pretty, if she didn't hate the cold and didn't hate the water. Otherwise, rain was rather relaxing. "It's f-fr-fre-freezing in here!"

Mistkit sighed.

"I find your voices to be squeaking and annoying." She remarked, sounding mildly tired. She made no indication as to who she was talking to, keeping her emerald gaze fixed on the rain. Though, she was referring to Swiftkit and Cricketkit. "There are other sources of entertainment than running around."

[Thicketkit]

Thicketkit kinda agreed. You did not always have to run around and be crazy. The complaining was annoying him. Thicketkit kept silent. He turned to Swiftkit. "Quit complaining about your pelt. It will dry sooner or later" he snapped. It was rare to see Thicketkit mad. The pale brown tabby Tom looked at his paws. I should not have said that.

[Cricketpaw]

Cricketkit tilted her head in confusion at the weird kitten who just refused to look at anyone. 'What's her problem?' she thought angrily, feeling insulted by the she-kit's words. Though she let her thoughts be negative, she refused to start a fight aloud -- at least, not on purpose. "Are you talking to me?" she growled with a light tone of annoyance towards Mistkit. If she was, her words wouldn't make any sense. Cricketkit's voice was not squeaky. It was soft, a little song or chime as her father once mentioned. Hardly squeaky, she was well past that age in kithood. 'Then again, she could just be talking to the other one. Not that anyone can tell if she doesn't actually LOOK at them!'

" Can you to stop fighting im trying to think about what mistkit told me."sighed Swiftkit"So shut it!"

Mistkit still did not dignify any of the words aimed at her with a physical response.

Or a verbal one for that matter. She figured yelling would lead to more yelling. Thus, she deduced the best course of action would be to ignore the two kits aside from Thicketkit.
