Thicketkit did not really like Swiftkit's additude. THe other kitten did not seem to be that annoying. Maybe I could become friends with her or Mistkit. Maybe Swiftkit too if she acts properly. Thicketkit said nothing. He had enough of Swiftkit's yelling and complaining. Thicketkit sighed.

Still, the she-kit -- Mistkit? -- refused to give them her attention. Cricketkit felt her fur bristle at how rude this kitten was. Probably some stuck-up pampered daughter of someone 'important', the tortoiseshell mused, still insulted. Cricketkit had done nothing wrong whatsoever. It was Mistkit who had gotten under her skin, who didn't have to act like this. 'Stupid. If she just want to create problems, she can to someone else.'
Turning away, Cricketkit pouted to herself. 'There goes my good mood, even if I AM cold.' So instead, trying to gather up her last traces of patience, she smiled at the only tomkit here. "Hi there, sorry for not introducing myself right away. I'm Cricketkit." she said, and then also gave the other she-kit a friendly smile, showing she wasn't ignoring her either.

Mistkit's tail waved behind her.
"I realize I have not supplied my name. I am Mistkit." She stated all of a sudden. She really hoped Cricketkit and the other she-kit would smarten up a bit. Perhaps they could learn to appreciate quiet.

Thicketkit offered a small smile. "Nice to meet you Cricketkit, My name is Thicketkit son of Dewmask and Paleheart" he meowed. The pale brown tabby Tom-cat did not want to hear anymore arguing and complaining. Thicketkit wanted Mistkit and Swiftkit to calm down a bit. The pale brown tabby Tom sighed again and waited for some cat to speak

Featherkit watched the other kits oddly. The little molly wasn't a social cat and her face and fur made her look angry, leaving kits to not approach her. This gave the little british short hair time to work on her social skills if any cat did talk to her

The mottle kit looked surprised at a voice speaking to her. And the voice knew her name! She turned around to see the source of the voice. Featherkit looked at the light grey kitten with her tipped ears, paws and tail, Featherkit felt happy to see someone was blessed with beauty. "Um.. Hello"

Thank CloudClan Thicketkit was friendly. At least he could help Cricketkit calm down her nerves. Trying to keep her voice level, and not spiraling into sadness like she wanted to when Swiftkit then ignored her, the tortoiseshell decided to state her parents as well. It seemed... formal, in a way. "My parents are Meadowlark and Duststorm." she murmured, though then winced and hung her head. Since Meadowlark had moved out of the nursery, though, Cricketkit had... been alone. Her littermates, Morningkit and Thistlekit, were no longer around and no one else her age was even closely related to her anymore. 'Everyone grew up... faster than me.' Meadowlark had at least left behind her nest. So Cricketkit had dragged it off to the far corner of the nursery, where she slept alone and no one seemed to notice her, seeing the moss nest as more of a pile to take from for game material rather than an actual bed. A few times, kits had snatched a few mouthfuls, much to the tortoiseshell's dismay.
But most just left her alone. The nest was cold, but she liked it. Or she at least told herself she did.
"Though Meadowlark isn't in the nursery anymore...." she added softly. Briefly, she recognized Featherkit and Swiftkit talking. She gave the new arrival a friendly smile, at least.

Mistkit looked at Cricketkit with a thoughtful expression, tilting her head to the side.
She seemed less agitated. No. That wasn't correct. She was likely still agitated, however it lacked the energy it did before. It was somewhat subdued which admittedly made her wonder. What was it? However, Cricketkit quickly gave an answer. Meadowlark was not around anymore. Well, it wasn't as if the queen had died. She was still very much alive, simply not a resident in the nursery anymore. She noted that the she-kit listed a father.
Mistkit had faint memories of her time before Treeclan. It wasn't much, however she could remember. Her memories of her biological parents were likely not as sweet as Cricketkit's, she assumed.
"Meadowlark is still alive and well in the clan. You will likely see her around, admittedly in lower frequency. But... She's there." Mistkit pointed out gently, trying her paw at being helpful. She wasn't actually positive if she was truly being helpful.
