Lilykit stepped out of the nursery for the first time. The she-kit scanned the camp with her blue eyes. The gray and white she kitten's blue eyes fixed on a apprentice who looked about the age of a warrior. Who is she?" "Hello?" She mewed. "Who are you? I'm Lilykit daughter of Geckostep" the gray and white kitten murmered. But then she noticed that the apprentice's eyes were not focused. Could this be a blind cat. |

Hailpaw padded along the edges of camp, a path she'd walked many times before. She made sure to walk slower when a milky scent came near. She was clumsy, and kits were clumsy, so it wasn't rare for her to bump into a kit. She halted once a little voice piped up. Hailpaw instantly purred. "Well hello Lilykit. I'm Hailpaw." She turned her head in the kitten's direction, not wanting to confuse her by speaking and facing the other way. "Does Geckostep know you're out?"

Lilykit looked up at the warrior aged apprentice. She shyly looked down at the ground and shifted her paws. "Umm no she doesn't" the gray and white kitten murmured softly hoping that Hailpaw would not tell on her. Lilykit looked up again. "Are you going to tell on me?"

Hailpaw shook her head. "Of course not. I used to leave the nursery all the time." She paused, taking another sniff to see if the kit had moved. She smiled. "Lilykit's a very pretty name. I like it."

Lilykit smiled. "Thank you, Hailpaw is a very pretty name too" the gray and white kitten meowed. Her icy blue eyes gleamed. "So want to play a game or do something?" Lilykit asked hoping that the apprentice will agree. The gray and white kitten wanted to have fun with this cat, even if she just met her

"Aw, thanks." Hailpaw chuckled when the subject was changed to a game. "Sure. What game do you want to play, Lilykit?" The apprentice didn't know too many, so she figured Lilykit might end up teaching her how to play. 'I hope she picks a fun one!'
