Hailspirit trotted into the clearing, dropping off a mouse at the prey heap. If was a beautiful new-leaf morning, and the young warrior wanted to enjoy it, even if she couldn't see. She could still hear the birdsong and smell the flowers, so at least there was that. Placing the mouse on top of the pile, she turned around and started heading off again. Only this time something stood in her tracks. The she-cat winced, feeling a bundle of fur collide with her paws. "Sorry, little guy!"

[Jaykit]

Jaykit stumbled back in surprise, yellow eyes wide. "Oh, I'm sorry! It's my fault! I didn't mean to get in your way!" The little she-cat looked terrified and unsure, shuffling her paws. Would she be allowed to become a warrior after this? Would she be punished for running into a warrior? She looked up at the warrior in fear.

Hailspirit laughed a little when the kit quickly apologized. "It's alright! I should have payed attention to my pawsteps." She tilted her head down slightly, assuming the kit was in that direction. She tried to avoid staring straight ahead when talking to kits. She didn't want to confuse them. "What's your name?"

[Jaykit]

Jaykit relaxed a little when she wasn't scolded. "I'm Jaykit. My mama is Brackensky. And what about you? What's your name?" She asked curiously.

She purred. "Jaykit's an awesome name. Your mother named you well." She said, sitting down. "My name is Hailspirit. It's nice to meet you."

[Jaykit]

[Thank you! Took me a while to find the place to put it. I was putting it in location and other places lol]

Jaykit smiled a little. She liked this cat. "So you're a warrior? You must go out hunting! What's it like? Can you show me how?" She was eager to learn how to hunt, just like any other kit. Maybe she could get a headstart on her training...

Hailspirit nodded. "Yeah, I just became a warrior! Hunting's really fun." She got down in a crouch position, careful to check her surroundings to make she wouldn't squash anything. She lowered her head, scenting the air for Jaykit. She turned in that direction. "First, you get down like this. Focus on your prey, and then pounce!"

[Jaykit]

Jaykit crouched down as best as she could. It wasn't very well done. Her tail was high up, and she was a little too low. Her stomach brushed against the ground. Jaykit seemed to realize that Hailspirit had some trouble with her eyesight but didn't want to point it out. "Like this?"

[Palefire]

"Like this?" Hailspirit stood up and faced the kit. She lifted a paw and tried to brush it against the top of Jaykit's pelt. It felt like her tail was up... And she was a little too close to the ground. She moved her paw to Jaykit's underbelly, then tried to gently push up. "More like this. And lower your tail."

[Jaykit]

"How low?" She asked, her tail lowering greatly. It smacked against the ground but then raised it a little again. She raised herself up a little more. She seemed to shake with the effort but kept herself up. "How about now?"

[Palefire]

Hailspirit heard the tail smack against the ground. She lifted her paw and went to fix it, though it felt like Jaykit had already lifted it. She tried to lightly trace her paw against the she-cat's fur again. She purred. "Perfect! You'll get through training in a breeze. Your mentor will love you."

[Jaykit]

"Really?" Jaykit asked in hope, sitting up in pride. Then she tilted her head. "Hey, Hailspirit? What if I can't be a warrior?"

[Palefire]

"Of course!" She chirped, frowning a little as Jaykit continued. "What do you mean? Cloverstar will definitely make you a warrior someday, I'm sure of it."

[Jaykit]

"Well, I'm just worried that I'm not gonna be able to fight...or hunt. What if I can't do anything? What if I can't help the Clan?" Jaykit asked in worry, looking up at Hailspirit in worry.

[Palefire]

"Nonsense." She answered, shaking her head. "You'll make a great warrior. Just wait and see."
