A small smoky gray tabby yawned showing pointy teeth. Her blue eyes scanned her surrondings. She sighed. Just then she had spotted her twoleg climbing into a monster. I guess I'm going to be home alone. The tabby she-cat had waited for her twoleg's to go somewhere for a while so she could explore the Twolegplace a bit more. The smoky gray tabby dashed out of her garden and headed towards the twoleg path which twolegs called, the sidewalk. Her blue eyes fixed on a Tom-cat, probably another kittypet.
The smoky gray tabby sat down to groom her fluffy pelt. The kittypet's eyes narrowed a bit but she did not want to be rude. "Hello?" She greeted. "Who are you?"

Thomas was out on another walk.
He was moving his paws along the sidewalk, his eyes staring down at the ground, unfocused. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going, but he was aware enough to not suddenly veer off the path into the way of a monster. He wasn't that stupid.
His thoughts were... Admittedly a bit stuck on the past. Stuck on his sister.... Plus the other one. His parents. Not his step-dad. He didn't count. His real parents.
Then a voice jerked him out of his thoughts, he looked up to see a gray furred tabby before him. "Uh... Hi. I'm Thomas."

Aster smiled a bit but she stopped. The smoky gray tabby was not like the other lazy fat kittypets on the streets. Her eyes fixed on the tom-cat. Her tail twitched. His name is Thomas. I've never heard that name. "Well nice to meet you Thomas" Aster meowed. "My name is Aster" the smoky gray tabby murmered
It got a bit silent after that. Aster had no idea what else to say to him. "So what brings you here?" She questioned, ears pricked up to hear his reply. "Did your twolegs go somewhere too?" The smoky gray tabby added

Thomas wasn't exactly a typical kittypet either.
From what he'd seen, most house cats had at least lived in twolegplace their whole life. Not so, for Thomas. Heck, his name was way different from what it used to be.
The she-cat before him revealed her name to be Aster. A name from nature. Something... That was normal, in Thomas' books. She then presented a question. Even if she basically answered her own question a few moments after. She seemed genuinely interested in his answer, though.
"That's pretty much it, yeah. My twolegs always leave during the day. I get to wander while they're out."

Aster nodded. "Yeah I do that too sometimes" The smoky gray tabby meowed. "Have you ever wondered about the wild cats. Some of the other kittypets said they eat house cats but I don't think that's true." The kittypet wondered if Thomas might have gone into the forest to explore. Aster stopped thinking about the wild cats and stayed silent not knowing what to say.
"What do you like to do, other then wandering around?" The smoky gray tabby asked

Thomas thought about the weird question.
"That's a weird rumor. Cats are still cats no matter how weird they are. Cats don't eat cats." He stated. He sighed. "Though... I have thought about those wild cats a bit... I remember... My sister was interested in them... Maybe she..." He shook his head to tear his thoughts away from the subject of his long lost sister Eve.
Then Aster presented a new question. "Well... I don't know. There's not much. I make sure to exercise, however." He huffed. "I'm not going to get lazy and fat."
