Ginger had grown she wasn't much of a cute kitten anymore but more of a beautiful slender young shecat. Her hear specks were more prominent and she had a heart shape on her pink nose. Her coat was now sleek instead of silver her eyes fit her face perfectly. And she was slowed out more now. Once a week. She leapt over into Thomas 's yard "hey lazy bones!" she called "aren't we headed downtown today?"

Thomas was curled up in his yard, taking advantage of the luxury he had.
Then his name was called out, he lifted his head to look over to the speaker. It was Ginger, his neighbor. He blinked. "I thought you never left your house?" He asked, mildly confused.

"I can sometimes now" she replied. Beaconing for him to follow her as she followed the smell of food and housefoalk.

Thomas offered up a slight smile.
"That's good." He meowed. He blinked as Ginger seemed to be beckoning him. After that brief moment of hesitation, he made to follow after the she-cat.

" so Scarlett told me that there is a ton of food downtown." She said as they walked before looking at him . "have you met Scarlett?"

Thomas flattened his ears.
"Yes. I've met Scarlett. They scratched my face." He meowed, sounding a bit grumpy. To be fair, he had good reason! The she-cat had attacked him!

Thomas huffed.
"I'm not annoying. She was trying to harm me. If it was deeper and got infected it could've been a problem." He argued.

"you are and I don't believe you" she said following the smell of kibble.

Admittedly Thomas was getting frustrated.
"It could've been deeper and a problem! But I was still taught to fight... Imagine if I'd actually been born in Twolegplace..." He grumbled.

Ginger found him quite cute when he was angry. But continued walking before hearing his comment. "oh, I'm sorry? Is there something weak about not being born wild?!" She exclaimed stopping, clearly hurt.

Thomas noticed Ginger stopped.
... Alright, he figured that his comment was a bit rude. "... Sorry. It's just... When you're born in the wild you have to really know how to defend yourself. Not all cats are... Friendly. Plus there's foxes and things in there that are a lot bigger and meaner." He sighed. "And in Twolegplace... If you got into a fight you'd probably just guessing on what would work... Be honest with me Ginger, would you actually know what would work best in a fight?"

"no but most cats here do. We have dogs and dangerous cats all over " she hissed "you wouldn't know how to fight a dog" she then sped off ahead of him.

Thomas cursed.
He began to run after Ginger. "Hold up, Ginger!" He called out. "You're correct, but I've never properly been in a fight!" He confessed. "It's just I was talking about house cats! They don't really get into fights because of their housefolk!" He pointed out, trying to fix what he said. Jeez, why was keeping relationships so hard?
