Arêtekit hadn't got to know very many of her littermates well, which was something she planned on doing today. She had always been semi-fond of her little brother Goldenkit (yes, we're related. i think. both applied for autumndust as mother, swiftstrike as father. yay!) and decided he would be her best bet for the whole "getting-to-know-someone" jazz.
Arêtekit wasn't very social. At all. If social was someone's middle name, then it was in another universe for hers. But she was going to make an attempt... So she padded up to the nursery and called out "Goldenkit? Where are you?" and waited, her tail flicking back and forth.

Goldenkit hadn't really met much anyone quite yet.
He'd admittedly gotten a bit bored, having only himself for company. He knew he had littermates, those he didn't really know yet. One of which was his big sister Arêtekit. She had a name that was a bit different if you asked him. Though, that didn't make it a bad thing.
Then he heard his name called out, and his snapped to the speaker who actually... Was the sister that was just in his thoughts. He shot her a grin bathed in confidence. "Heya, Arête!" He called out with a cheery tone. He padded right up to her.

"Hey golden! I haven't seen you in a while. I figured we should get to know each other a bit." She said with a smile. "Sooooo.... What do you like to do for fun?"

Goldenkit was immediately presented with a question.
"Well, hard to say!" He replied, his gaze scanning around the nursery. "Haven't seen much anything, have we? Gotta know what's out there to know what's what!"

"Good point!" said Ara. She had been waiting to explore the camp for so long.... And she was almost an apprentice. "I'll get to go exploring outside the camp soon! I can't wait!"

Goldenkit chuckled.
"Hope you're not leaving me behind!" He teased. He wasn't going to be an apprentice for a while yet, it was highly likely his older sister would cross that line a long while before he would.

"Oh, I won't." she promised. "You'll be an apprentice soon enough, and then you'll be right there with me." she swore. She knew it might be a few moons before her little brother joined her in the apprentice's den, but hey, it wasn't like she'd received her ceremony yet. Maybe he'd catch up. And they'd likely be in the apprentice's den together at some time. She hoped.

Goldenkit gave his sister a cocky grin.
"You betcha!" He replied, his tail wiggling behind him. No way was he gonna let his sister, bigger or no, leave him behind in the dust! No, Goldenkit would be amazing as well. And surely, since they were siblings, their apprenticeship times would overlap!

Arêtekit returned his grin. She was looking foreward to training, and having Goldenkit with her in training would make things much more fun...even if it would be a while until he was to join her. She tried to think of something else to say. After a moment of thought, she said, "So, what do you think your best quality is? Some cats are good at climbing, others at fighting, others are fast."

Goldenkit seemed to ponder over this for a sec.
"Well....." He went on elongating the word. "Like I said before. Inexperience is kinda in the way." He replied with shrug. Then he gained a mischievous expression. "But... I'd love to mess with someone! Just a little, like a joke."

Aretekit nodded. "Yup, you've got a point. Can't really know what we're good at 'till we become apprentices." She then thought about what he said next for a moment or two. "It would be fun to mess with someone...." she mumbled to herself.

Goldenkit thought for a moment.
Then he recalled a piece of prey he saw a queen eating. It had really weird feet! "What if we stuck a bunch of feet cut off from prey in someone's nest?" He suggested with a grin. "It's not like feet are terribly nutritious."

Aretekit thought for a second. Then she nodded. "Sure, why not?" she said with a laugh. Messing with warriors would be fun...and besides, no one was going to miss a few pieces of fresh-kill feet.

Goldenkit's mischievous grin widened.
"First we need to find the perfect victim." He meowed calmly, though inside he was bursting with excitement. "It's gotta be the right cat. Someone who's gonna have a funny reaction! But not someone who's too nice, because then that just makes us mean bullies."

Arêtekit thought about this for a second. "I agree." She said. "Although I can't think of any cats matching your description, however..." Her voice trailed off as she thought about how to phrase her next words. "We probably shouldn't pull a prank on the leader, deputy, queens, or any senior warriors. We could get into serious trouble."
