Flowerkit purred as he padded around the camp, a prominent smile on his face. Life was currently going well for the young kit. He was close to becoming an apprentice and already had a few friends. Thankfully, all his friends were older so at least they'd be able to show him around the Apprentices Den if they didn't have their ceremonies together. But maybe it was time to meet some more cats. Nightpaw was laying down in a shady corner of camp.
She was pondering over new ways to gain new information. She currently lacked an active mentor, so she needed to figure out ways to do these things by herself. Though, it was rather difficult to think of adequate methods and it frustrated the dark furred apprentice.
Then suddenly a small kit ran up to her. She cocked her head at the young tom, narrowing her eyes. ".... Hi."

The young kit giggled with a large grin on his face as he looked up at the larger cat, "I'm Flowerkit! Who are you?" He asked,,curiosity mixed with excitement leaking into his voice. |

Nightpaw cocked her head.
"... Hello, Flowerkit." She responded after a moment. "I go by Nightpaw." The kit seemed... High in energy at the moment. It was making Nightpaw just the slightest big uncomfortable... She wasn't used to cats like this, kit or not.

Nightpaw stared at the smaller cat.
".... I don't believe that's how relationships work...." She meowed slowly. She was reasonably sure that friendships were built upon extended periods of repeated interaction between two cats.

Mouse-dung.
Did Nightpaw do something wrong? The kid seemed... More energetic a moment ago. She wasn't a huge fan of interaction if she wasn't learning something, because it was so messy and confusing. ".... We can still talk if you like. I believe.... That's how such relationships are formed."

Would they ask a question? Nightpaw had always been bursting with questions since the day she came into existence. She figured other kits would likely be the same.
